Taylah's P.O.V.

The fact that the record deal is forcing me to go on tour, makes me have no idea what to do! I've told my parents, but they said they have no idea what to suggest! They don't want me to give up my dream but they don't want me to miss any school, let alone five months of it!!! I'll have to figure something out with Tyler that fits in with Asher as well.
The school dance is coming up and I don't want to go with Asher, but I don't know if Dylan will ask me! I recon Asher will get in there first and I'll have to say yes because he's my boyfriend!! Deep down I'll want to go with Dylan but won't be able to! If Dylan asks me first, then when Asher asks me, I'll be able to say something like 'Sorry, I'm going with someone else who's actually nice!' Hehe. Hopefully that will happen.

Olivia is forcing me to go dress shopping with her today! I love shopping, but I prefer it when I don't have to get something quite so expensive!

I arrive at the shopping centre at the time Olivia specified in her text to me last night - 12:30. I happen to find her Mum's car in the ginormous car park, so I tell dad and he parks next to it. She's still sitting inside the car listening to music while she doodles on a piece of paper with sharpie. She an amazing artist! I'm quite good and she says I'm amazing, but I don't think anyone in our year could be better than my best friend! Her window is open, so I knock on my window. Her face moves slowly away from her 'masterpiece', and towards me. I wave. It takes a while for her to click who I am (for some odd reason), but when she realises, her face softens then goes a bit brighter with more enthusiasm. She then waves vigorously and smiles a great big smile! She looks a bit like a lunatic quite frankly! I love her character though! We both step out of the car from the back seats and run into each other's arms.

"Heya!" Exclaims Olivia.

"Hey, I have no idea what kind of dress I want!" I say, a little panicky.

"It's ok, I'll help you girly! Don't fret," says Olivia, kindly.

"Thank you!" I say, a little more relieved.

My conversation with Olivia, carries on for quite a long time, while Dad and Tiffany, Olivia's Mum, talk in a friendly way. Probably saying something like, 'teenage girls and their shopping! Honestly!'. I don't care though because shopping is amazing!
Olivia and I eventually end our conversation, so Dad goes home and Livvy's mum comes into the shopping centre with us, just as planned. She says to meet us at the car at 3:30, because then we'll go and have some lunch. Probably McDonald's because Livvy and I have a secret of collecting the toys in the happy meals!!! Weird I know, but we're that kind of a really close best friend! Even Mikayla and Adrianna don't know about 'our little secret', and there two of my best friends! But obviously, Livvy is higher up in the friendship pyramid than they are! Livvy is at the top, Fran is second (as she's dead), Mikayla and Adrianna are next, and then a load of my other friends come after; I won't bore you with my very long list though, not meaning to boast!

The first shop Olivia and I go into is called 'Dress Heaven' (A/N: I'm making up all the names of these shops by the way!). Neither of us like anything in there so we basically walk in, then walk straight back out again! All the dresses were really tacky.
We decide to go into a shop called 'Forever U!' Next. We walk in and start to look...
"Ooooh Tay Tay! What about this?" Exclaims Olivia, holding up a beautiful and elegant dress that would look absolutely amazing on her! Her figure is so perfect, she could make anything look good. She always gets to the good dresses before me, so not fair!

"OMG!!! That dress will probably look amazing on you! Try it on!" I say, and she nods enthusiastically.

We carry on looking and by the time we've finished, both of Livvy's arms are full up with dresses! I even had to hold her bag for her there were that many. I haven't found anything I like, unfortunately. We shuffle into the changing rooms corridor and I wait outside on the seat while she changes. She comes out wearing the first dress she showed me earlier. It's SO pretty on her! The teal matching her skin tone perfectly. The sequins being delicate and not over the top shiny. It goes down to just above her feet (as the prom is mainly for long dresses). The straps are think and the V-Neck will be good with her necklace. She looks, stunning!
