*Kate POV*
"Come on in." Officer Caylen said while putting his cell phone on the coffee table next to the door. I walked in slowly underestimating the size of the house. It was small on the outside and BIG on the inside! Officer Caylen escorted us to the kitchen which had delicious snacks! While we ate he took our bags upstairs. He came back down and ate the snacked with us. It was really silent, I HAD TOO break the quietness! "Thanks Officer Caylen!" I said.
"No problem, oh yea you can just call me Peter."
"Can I call you Pete?" I asked
"Sure!" he replied.

So we talked about an hour or so. Pete showed us around the house. It was lovely, I was going to get use to this!
After a long while the clock struck 7, DINNER! We had pasta and meatballs, not my fav but I wasn't going to complain. Me being my retarded self I decided to be nosy.

K:"Pete we didn't mean to interrupt your phone call"

P:"No it's fine it was no one important!"

K: "well since we are all going to be living with each other for a while" I said dragging the sentence"who was it?" My mom shot me a death stare!

J:"no,no,no Pete you don't have to answer that!" she pleaded very embarrassed

P:"no it's fine" he said a bit uncomfortable but confident "it was my ex-wife, STACY, a jerk like Robert!"

*Jenn POV*
The room was spinning, emotions running! I looked at Kate with my sorrow eyes and then at Peter who quickly got up with a look on his face as if he said something wrong. I really wanted to tell him that he didn't do anything but it was to late. Stacy, she...she was married to Peter but... but was with Robert! I passed out!
