Y/N POV
It was around 3pm on christmas eve. You sat in front of the tv watching Elf.
The christmas tree sparkled in tge corner of the living room, it reminded you of the day you and your boyfriend Shawn decorated it.
He had said he couldn't make it back from his tour to spend christmas with you.
It hurt. but you just had to accept it.
Your eyes stung as warm tears fell out of them.
You missed him so much.
Your iphone buzzed in your hands.
Message from Shawn:
Shawn: Hey baby-girl! Merry christmas
You quickly read the text, it only made you cry more.
Your thumbs fiddled around the keyboard before you answered.
Y/N: Merry christmas to you too babe
Shawn: I sent you a small gift
Your eyes went wide, you wondered what it could be.
Y/N: Aww thanks babe, what is it?
Your curious mind filled with thoughts.
Shawn: Its a surprise, but it should be there soon.
As soon as you read that the door bell rang.
You slid out of the mountain if blankets and walked to the door, slightly annoyed.
"Probably just the annoying mail man" You groaned to yourself before flinging the door open.
Your mouth dropped.
There Shawn stood in a sweater and jeans, a red bow stuck to his head.
"Merry christmas" His small voice said, a cheeky smile spread across his face.
You ran up to him and jumped in his arms, your arms wrapped around his neck as you squeezed him into a tight hug.
"Shawn, why are you here?" You choked out.
"I needed to see my girl on christmas" He whispered in your ear, it made you blush.
You hopped off of him and stepped back, you noticed how adorable he looked.
"I like the bow" You giggled, he took it off his head and placed it on yours.
"Thanks" You mumbled, he chuckled.
"Oh right, you're probably freezing" You laughed letting him inside.
He took off his boots and you led him to the blanket covered couch.
"Nice" He chuckled plopping down in the mountain.
I sat beside him.
"What did you do while I was gone?" He asked staring into your eyes, it made you melt everytime.
"Watch christmas movies, drank hot chocolate, the usual" You said, he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you in close to him.
"I've really missed you" He whispered kissing the top of your head.
"I missed you too" You repiled and ending off by quickly grabbing his face and smashing your lips onto his.
You could feel the smile spread on his lips.
You heard the wind blow and slowly pulled away.
"It snowing!" You exclaimed and began to get uo to walk to the window, Shawn grabbed your arm and pulled you down.
"I wasn't done yet" He whispered, butterflies grew in your stomach.
Best. Christmas. Ever.
