||part 1||

Love.

What a wonderful word that people use to show there affection towards their significant other.

I wish I had a significant other. I don't want to sound desprate, but hey! we've all been there....right?

I mean, my cousin, Gaby has a soulmate she hasn't found, so I feel her pain. Except, I don't have a soulmate. I just can date whoever hoping the one I date is the one I'll be with always......forever.

When I was younger I would always ask my parents, "how does love feel? What IS love?"

"Your too young to understand, but hey, it's what we give you that makes your heart warm inside." They would reply.

Heh, haven't felt that in years. Ever since my parents died in a hero accident, I didn't know what it felt like to be loved. Though I had it right infront of me and my aunt, who took me in after my parents died, tried her best in showing me, but it didn't work out exactly, but I was still a happy child living with my cousin's. I didn't feel alone as much as I did living with my parents.

I had one sibling, but he always wanted his privacy and really didn't want anything with me, but it's okay now. I don't have to deal with his toxicity anymore.

Now apart from all this depression talk let's get right into this story of mine.

•°few years later°• (cue music)

Beep Beep Beep

"UGHHHHHH!" I groaned in frustration as I turned around and turned off my alarm.

I sat up rubbing my eyes and stretching afterwards with a yawn. I looked around my room. It was the same old. Dirty clothes around with a few bits of trash and toys from my little cousins.

I sighed and got up putting on my house slippers and walking out of my room. Gohan than made his way towards me bumping into me.

"Oh, your awake, that's good...ahh~" Gohan yawned.

"Tired too?" I spoke tiredly.

He nodded with a small tired smile. I nod and we made our way towards the living room. I saw Gaby, she was staring at the ceiling and looked kind of depressed. So I decided to change that.

"GABY!" I yelled in excitement and piled myself ontop of her.

"OW LITA!!" she groaned.

"Oh crap did I hurt you! I'm sorryy cuzooo!" I immediately said getting off of her.

She shook her head.

"It's fine." She smiled.

She sat up sitting properly on the couch and i joined. Gohan soon sat with us and we began to watch TV without speaking.

Soon the door began to get knocked on.

"ILL GET IT!" Gohan yelled standing up quickly. I tackled him down as he did so. I began to get up towards the door, but him and I kept fighting for the door. Until then Gaby teleported infront of us.

"LOSERS!" she said sticking her toungue out at us. Gohan and I pouted, but once Gaby opened the door our smiles came back on.

"TIO GOKU!" (Uncle Goku)  We beamed in excitement. We then ran to him while attacking him with a hug. He laughed while we did so.

"Hey there kids!" He greeted ruffling our hair. We then ran back inside with Goku infront to eat breakfast. My aunt then greeted Goku as well. She gave him a plate to which he devoured in seconds. We all laughed.

I finished up my eating and took sips of my drink.

"So, what brings you here, Tio?" Gaby asked.

"Oh right! I'm here to tell you three news." Goku said standing up and leaning on the wall.

"So you guys are probably familiar with the hero academy-"

"ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT UA?" Gohan exclaimed excitedly.

He got scolded afterwards. I tried not to laugh.

"Yes, well I'm good friend with principal Nezu and he said he would love to have you guys there." Goku smiled, " I can actually get you in my recommendation!"

I face palmed myself, Gohan dropped his spoon, while Gaby put her face on her chair. Goku looked at us in confusion.

"What, did I say something wrong?" He worried.

"Tio as much as it is a blessing for us for you to do that, but I don't think none of us want to." Gaby explained.

"Well why not?" He asked still confused.

"Gohan, please explain before I get too specific." Gaby said.

Gohan sighs before he stood up and puts away his plate. After doing so, he turns around to face Goku and leans on the counter.

"Well you see, we didn't really train our butts off just to get in through recommendations." Gohan said.

"Yeah, he has a point, tio, it wouldn't really show off our power if we did go in through recommendations." I added.

"Exactly, I think it's best for us three to go through the entrance exams." Gaby finished up the convo.

"Well if your willing to do that, it means harder training for the next few days." Goku smirked.

The three of us smiled and nodded while humming in the process. Then, my aunt shoved a sweat bread at him. He got excited and began to eat it up. We all laughed at his actions. I then began to wonder about how bieng in UA would be like.

It felt as if my life was like a movie. It was all bieng put together slowly. A piece at a time.

After today and starting tomorrow, Our training to become the hero's we've dreamed to be will commence.

Hours later Gaby and I went outside and to the roof of the house. I laid my head on her lap while she played with my hair and enjoyed the sunset. 'Hey Kids' played in the background making the setting perfect and relaxing.

I looked up at Gaby.

"This'll be a hell of a ride for us won't it." I grinned.

"Oh it will....it sure will." She smiled.
