MESSAGE:
Man by nature is religious. It is already embedded in the depths of our soul. Man knows, that on his own, there are a lot of things that he cannot do. If he does something good, in all his arrogance, he always finds someone else is better than him. And someone better and another, and another. Man knows by himself that he is not perfect. And so he looks for that something or someone that would fill that imperfection. Someone he could look up to. Because many times, man doesn't even know why he exists. And so he searches for himself and his reason for existence. He searches and searches. And he often stumbles with the idea that a Supreme Being exists.
Ma, however, in his arrogance may reject this idea and persevere to prove that everything has an explanation in the Physical. Until again and again, he comes face to face a wall of limitation of the natural mind and always, always there is something so much more left unexplained that he calls, MYSTERIES. It never ends.
And so many books were written, many studies have been done. Research, investigation, it does not stop. One mystery only leads to another.
One thing Man usually notices is everything in this world is created in such an Order and uniqueness. Even identical twins are different from each other. No two zebras have the same prints. No two snowflakes have the same arrangement. The waves of the shore do not outrun each other. Everything is intricately designed to follow a natural pattern. And man is in awe of this. All things point out to the idea that a Great and Supreme Being holds the world in His hand and put everything in Order.
Man may not accept this and many times run away. And the farther he runs away from this idea, the more lost he becomes. Void. Frustrated. Empty.
There is this hollow in our hearts that we can't seem to satisfy. A hunger for something that most of us don't know about. Like a seed planted in a dark box. If you put a hole to make the light come in, the seed will bend and grow toward the light. Man is like a seed of a tree planted on the darkness of the earth. And that seed that God planted will always look for the light so it could grow tall and bear fruit. But when man closes his heart and allow darkness to reign, that seed will never grow and wouldn't be able to grow fruits and extend to others so it could multiply.
The darkness will consume the seed and bury it until it is forgotten. Sometimes, in the vigor of our youth, we become foolish. Where are you now? Are you consumed by the darkness of the world hidden behind the bright lights and the freedom that the world made you believe you do not have the accountability for all the things that you have done while you're inside it?
But God will never forget the seed that He Himself has planted. He knows the seed and knows where He leaves it. And He will make it grow to become a part of the big forest that would eventually give life to others.
You ssee, A seed needs water, air and light to grow. And if the seed is buried deep down hidden in darkness. The Lord will never just leave it buried. Even if He would send storms of problems in our lives just to water us, a strong wind of chaos that shakes us to make us breathe and send drought of scarcity, and lack to make us feel the heat. He will. Until the seed will find its way to the top and start to see the light. Until we realize that we need God. That we need to fear Him. Fear Him not because He is powerful, but fear because we love and respect Him. Just like how we are afraid to hurt the people we love. Until the branches of our hands extends its leaves to the sky praising the One that gave us life.
