More Than Just Science

Kayla sighs, and walks out of the school building. She adjusted her shirt that looked like Laserblast's, but actually had sleeves, and was a bit big on her. She had long lavender purple hair, and it fades into magenta at the bottom. She wore black shorts, with leggings, and boots. She was a loner, and very artistic. She walks into the Bodega. Maybe I'll have time to study up while on my shift... She thinks. She was greeted by a familiar Pink haired girl, " Hey, Kay." says Enid, in her calm, carefree voice. she was sitting in the chair, with her feet propped up, reading a magazine, with her " Cool " shades on. " How can you read with those silly shades on?" Kayla joked. Enid smirked, and snapped her fingers. " Magic."

Just then, the two burst out laughing, while Rad and Ko were watching, as if it were a show. Enid takes off the shades. " So how's school going?" " It's okay, I guess. I'm passing all my classes, except for one."

" Let me guess, science?"

" Yep. "

Enid sighs. " Seriously, Kay, if you're going to finally graduate, you need to study up on science more." " I know, especially if I want to get an art career, and start up my own studio in the Plaza." she sits down in a random chair, and takes out her textbook. Enid goes back to the counter, and goes back to reading her magazine. I never came to understand science. If only there was a person that knew it, and could tutor me, that would be great. She thought with a sigh.

she wrote down notes, and read another page. The bell on the door jingled, and she looked up to see a tall, rather slender man, that had light purple skin, shoulder length dark purple hair, and yellow slit eyes. " Can I help you?" Enid asks, not paying attention. " Do you have any metal pipes?" the man asked. Enid pointed to aisle 5. As he turned around, he found Kayla studying. He smirks, and walks up to her. " What are you doing, there?" he asks, in his calm voice. she looks up. "Oh, just science homework." She responded with a smile. " Ohhh." He says. " I'm flunking it, and I need a tutor, but I don't know anybody that knows science well."

" I know science, I'm a bio engineer, I could tutor you."

" Really? That would be great!"

He gives her his card. " Just give me a call, and you may come and see me when you need tutoring." she nods. " Okay."

Enid was watching the whole time. " The name is Professor Venomous, but you may call me Venomous." The man says. " My name's- " he cut her off. " Kayla."

" How did-"

" I know many things." Venomous responds. He then goes to the aisle, and gets the metal rods. As soon as he paid for them, he left. " I don't trust the looks of this> " Enid says, as she got up, and stood next to Kayla. " Why not? He seems nice."

" For now..."

Kayla rolled her eyes. She knew Enid was looking out for her.
