Tw: Past abuse, panic attack, flashback, manipulation

Izuku kept fidgeting. And not his normal ADHD fidgeting, his "something is about to happen and I don't know what holy crap what is wrong something is going to go horribly wrong" fidget.

Bakugo Katsuki was hearing every little fidget and for once he wasn't irritated, he was...What was he? Concerned? Worried? Whatever the hell it was, it wasn't great and he was about to explode his pencil if Izuku didn't calm his shit!

Izuku gasped. It was subtle and hardly audible, but it was enough for Bakugo's sharp ears to hear. "'Zuku?" Katsuki called, quietly and through his teeth. "He's back. At the gate..You can see through the window." Izuku whispered, his voice wavering.

"Hisashit?" Kacchan gritted through his teeth, he dared not to say his actual name. "Why is he here? He's not supposed to be here, he's not supposed to-I don't understand-Kacchan what's-I'm scared-I can't--" The green haired boy's breathing was increasing. Shit.

"Everything is gonna be fine, okay, Zuchan? I'll protect you. I'll always protect you from him, got it? It's different from before." Kacchan snarled, but without its usual bite. "O-Okay..." Izuku hesiantly whispered back.

Katsuki side eyed the window, looking for the offender. His heart practically leaped out of his chest as soon as he spotted the black haired curly man. Oh. Hell. No. Bakugo's pencil exploded as he stood up, his chair hitting Izuku's desk while Bakugo's desk hit Toru's chair. "Bakugo!" Aizawa scolded, his scarf already hovering as he eyes glowed a vibrant red.

Hisashi was getting closer. He was going to enter the motherfucking building! The nerve of that prick! Izuku sobbed. Izuku. Right. Deep breathes, he had to protect him. Bakugo turned to Izuku and in one swift motion kicked his desk away and met the nerd half way in a hug.

The class looked at them bug eyed, mouth agape. What was happening? Izuku's never broken down in class like this before and Katsuki certainely never responded like this to anyone.

"Bakugo, what is going on!?" Aizawa demanded. Ah right. Extra's were still here. "Dekusquad or what the fuck you call yourselves, guard him." Bakugo demanded, it didn't take longer than a split second for the group to assemble around the pair. "Comfort him and shit." And those were Bakugo's last words before he broke the window with his chair and flew out.

Izuku let out a cry once he saw Bakugo's silloute leave. He closed his eyes in an attempt to comfort himself. He mind, instead, drawed to a memory.

"I do so, so much for you Izuku, you have to understand that sometimes adults get tired too. You understand that, right?" Six year old Izuku nodded, teary eyed. "So you understand that misbehaving like this so, so often is difficult to deal with, yes?" Hisashi's words were soft but they rang as alarm bells.

"Mmmhm." Izuku didn't trust himself to speak. "Okay." Hisashi stood up, teary wide eyes following him. "Izuku, go to your room. You'll be staying in there until you learn to be good again." Izuku cried harder, but obeyed.

Turns out learning to be good took a lot longer than Izuku anticipated. It's been a few days already. A few days since he last saw Kacchan. A few days since he last went to school. A few days since he's been somewhere besides the bathroom and his room.

His father still fed him, so he supposes it could be worse. Still, he was scared and tired, constantly. He wanted to play heroes with Kacchan again. Oh, what he would do to see Kacchan again! He would even have cleaning duty for a whole week if it meant seeing Kacchan.

But he knew he couldn't. Izuku wasn't good yet. He didn't know what he was doing wrong but he knew he had to be doing something bad. If Izuku wasn't bad, why else would he be here?

Bakugo didn't remember his attack, not really. He only remembered the orange glow from his quirk and then an uncomfortable tightness surrounding his body. Curse his teacher's ratty ass scarf.

"Bakugo Katsuki! What the fuck are you doing!?" Aizawa gritted his teeth. "He-" Bakugo pointly looked at Hisashi. "-Shouldn't be here! He has a fucking restraining order against him!" Hisashi began to desperately deny Katsuki's words, which was quickly dismissed.

Izuku mindlessly touched his shoulder, where the biggest scar Hisashi gave him was, as he watched his father get arrested all over again. "C'mon kid, let's go watch a movie or something." Kacchan directed, not feeling comfortable with Izuku having to watch this for a second time.

Izuku nodded, letting the taller wrap his arm around his shoulder, leading him back to the dorms. He took a deep breath and leaned into the other. He was safe. He had his big brother to protect him after all.

Some time amongst his reflection, Izuku had fallen asleep because when something hit his window, he was suspiciously sluggish when he sat up. The six year old frowned, trembling as he glanced at the window.

"C'mon Izuku. How're you going to be a hero if you're too scared now." The child took a deep breath before throwing his window open. "Deku!" Izuku's eyes snapped open. "Kacchan!?" Bakugo jumped in through the window.

"Where have you been, stupid Deku!? You haven't been to school in a week! And the old hag didn't know what happened either!" Izuku quickly recovered from his shock. "Shh! My dad can't hear you!" Kacchan only glared at him.

"Tell me what happened!" The taller six year old demanded. Izuku tilted his head in confusion, ignoring the other's demands. "How are you here?" Izuku questioned, causing the other to roll his eyes and scoff.

"I snuck out to see you!" Izuku's eyes widened. "Kacchan!" Said child rolled his eyes. "Its whatever! I knew what I was doing! Just tell me why you haven't been going to school!"

"Okay, okay! But don't yell!" Izuku begged, Katsuki nodded in agreement, gesturing for him to start talking. "Well, okay...Remember how Taro burnt me? Well, Dad got mad about that. 'M not allowed to go anywhere besides my room or the bathroom."

Katsuki gritted his teeth, wiping his hands on his shorts so his quirk wouldn't activate. "That's stupid!" He proclaimed. "Kacchan!" Izuku looked aghast. "When can you leave!?" Izuku shifted uncomfortably. "When I learn to be good." The other's temper flared at that.

"That's even stupider! You're the goodest in the whole class! We need to tell the old hag!" Izuku panicked at that. "We don't need to-" Katsuki looked at him in all seriousness. "Your dad can't keep you in your room forever. My mom will make sure your dad knows that you're the goodest!"

Izuku felt his eyes fill with tears. Was any of this really okay? Katsuki came all this way to just check up on him and...And staying in the room was really uncomfortable...

"Okay but...Can you hold my hand?" Katsuki grinned, tightly grasping his hand. He would make damn sure Izuku was safe.
