Chapter 17: Drake and Hades

They arrived outside of the manor. Drake ran up to the door and started knocking. "Lucifer open the door!" Suddenly, the door opened. A man with blue hair stood in the doorway with what looked like no eyeballs. "I'm sorry. Lucifer isn't here anymore," He said. "Who are you?" Hades asked. "I'm Úñkñøwñ. Nice to meet you," He said. They shook hands. "Your friend is gone. He has ascended. He got ahold of my death book, and it drove him insane. He is now at the far reaches of the universe. If we don't stop him, the whole universe will crumble at his mercy. I'll need your help to do this. There was a butler here, but he left," Úñkñøwñ said. They nodded and ran to the car. "Wait. Maybe if we find his family, they can help us," Hades proposed. The all agreed and ran back into the manor. They searched for any clues to the address to Lucifer's parent's house. Drake searched under the bed, and found a picture. It was a picture of a woman holding a baby. He took the picture out of the frame and looked on the other side. On the back, "Joshua, 1991," was written in pen. Drake slipped the picture into his pocket and kept searching. Finally, Úñkñøwñ ran to the group with a slip of paper. It was an address. They got into the car and drove to that address. Hades got out and knocked on the door. Not long after, a man opened the door. He had curly black hair that almost his his horns. He had a t-shirt and shorts on. "Hello. Can I help you?" The man said. His voice was scratchy and deep. "Do you know this person?" Hades held up a picture of him and Lucifer. The man grew wide eyed, his face draining with color. "That's...that's...my son. That's Lucifer. He ran away a long time ago. Mostly because of my constant abuse. I didn't mean any of it. After his mother died, I couldn't take it anymore. I want to see him. Do you know where he is?" He asked. "That's why I'm here mister..." Hades waited for the guy to tell him his name. "Joseph. Call me Joseph. Anyways, you're looking for him? Well, maybe I can help. I'll be glad to," Joseph said, a smile spread across his face. Hades agreed to the proposition, and Joseph joined them on their ongoing search for Lucifer.
