Full Name: Harper Elizabeth GreeneNicknames: Harp
Age: One year up from the trio (though that can be changed for the purposes of a scenario)
Birthday: July 5th, 1979
Gender: Female
Appearance: McGonagall nearly had a heart attack upon seeing her, mistaking her for a /third/ Weasley in one year, so that tells you plenty about her appearance. She's 5'7", with tousled hair (that she cut short in fourth year) and an abundance of freckles peppering her skin face and button nose. Her eyes are large and blue, her lips are fairly thin, and she has bushy, wavy bangs that cover most of her forehead. She prefers pants to a skirt, and usually forgets to tuck her shirt or tie in until reminded multiple times. Casually, she prefers jeans and a loose top or flannel. The only times she's worn a dress was once for a school play and half-way through the Yule Ball before begging McGonagall to transfigured it into a nice pantsuit or romper or anything with legs.
Faceclaim: Sophia Lillis
House: Gryffindor
Blood Status: Muggleborn
Era: Harry Time!!!
Patronus: Fox
Boggart: She's afraid of not being liked or funny, which is more of a concept than a tangible thing. Lucky for boggarts everywhere, sharks also freak her the frick out.
Family/Backstory: Harper doesn't really have much of a sob story, or any. Her parents are both very career based, so she had a lot of time to kill as an only child at home. Before school started, she would notice things happening around her. Her walls would have changed color when she woke up, her freckles would form rude words on her arm, that sort of thing. When she hit primary school age, those little things became problematic. She was well-acquainted with in-school suspensions by the age of ten, and magic was only responsible for half of them. The letter was delivered by a wizard, as is with all muggle families and, after a teary parting and a promise to write every day that was not held up by either her or her parents, she was shipped off to a new, glamorous, exciting chapter of her life.
Friends: The twins are her first and foremost wizarding friends, and she's close with her roommates Angeline, Alicia and Katy. She gets along well with the trio, though it's hard to resist any opportunity to take a playful jab at Ron whenever it arises.
Enemies: She's at odds with most slytherins, though that's more of an "on principal" sort of deal. She loathes Dolores Umbridge to her very core, and isn't exactly a fan of Voldemort. She and Snape don't see eye to eye on many things, either, and it's rare for her to go a month without a detention from him.
Love Interest(s): Her most primary and long-term crushes are Fred and George Weasley. They're two different people but they're so in sync that she can't have a moment with one without the other butting in. She'd never tell either of them about this, and enjoys their platonic relationship quite a lot but has harbored feelings since partway through first year.
Sexuality: Pansexual, if she's asked to label it.
Personality: Harper's a sly individual. When she first came to Hogwarts, she had a sharp temper and was more ready to fist-fight than duel. Since then, her mood has been weathered by being friends with the twins and being taught by such ässholes as Snape and...Snape, she's mellowed out...but not much. She's not so foolish that she'd tank her grade, and she'd be an amazing student if she applied herself, but as it is, she scrapes by at the wizard equivalent of a B- to B+ range. She's a fairly happy person, and stays away from Harry's "constant danger" bullshït, content to make trouble of her own. Her first impression of people is the one she tends to hold onto, which can make change in people hard to accept for her, and she could do to trust the Slytherins a little more.
Favorite Subject: Transfiguration
Least Favorite Subject: Potions
Likes: Messing with people, especially pure-bloods (her favorite thing is pretending that she doesn't know what normal things like horses or the common cold are, to enforce the idea that muggles are clueless), transfiguration and Minerva McGonagall along with it, Professor Trelawny ("She's a live soap-opera, Hermione!"), fudge, her cats, nifflers ("They're so bloody cute!"), and the entire Weasley family (even Percy).
Dislikes: Snape, being patronized (especially by Snape), detention (with Snape), ghosts (she's better with them now, but they still give her the heeby-jeebies), most dogs, Voldemort (duh), heights (it's not a serious fear but she can't handle a broomstick), and needing help.
Pets: She has two cats: Mittens and Fat Baštard. She impulse-bought them on her first trip to Diagon Alley and adores them both.
Wand: Birch, dragon heartstring, 13"; it's almost concerningly bendy.
Outfits: [Pending: due when I have literally any free time ever at all.]
Others: She's not a book worm exactly, but she finds wizarding books fascinating. She also really loves trips to Hogsmeade, and looks forward to each and every one with an almost child-like excitement. Which would make sense. Because she is a child.
Quotes: "Wait, what's...that's a..."stair-case?" What is that, magic? The way it, like, goes up with steps and stuff?"
"F^@€ the ocean. And you can quote me on that."
"Imagine Snape with dreads. Dread-Snape."
"I love Hagrid and all, really I do, but if I see another Baste Blended Snoot I'm gonna hhhhhhhhhhhhh-" (Another Brassed Tended Scoot was spotted before completion.)
