We begrudgingly spend the next 3 or 4 hours listening to Mr. Motinxi reiterate how important it is we look after each other. Sure we have this "bond" or whatever but I can't see myself look after 2 people as rude as Synbia and Ni'Klaus, anytime soon. Cross my heart and hope to die stick a needle in my eye if you catch me protecting one of those two. All this time Ni'Klaus hasn't spoken one word. Oh, wait, I lied. Once. he said "Are you done?". Yea, I know. But of course Synbia was full of drawn out exclaims, like, "I'm so bored!" Saying by the end of the lesson I wanted to punch her in her jaw, was an understatement. I actually found myself looking forward to Naveen's snarky, sarcastic remarks. I think I could like him in all his blue eyed glory. And I mean glory. He was lean, much like Mr. Broody Pants Mcgee over there and my brother, his jaw was sharp but I could see the baby had just fallen off him in the face. Now the body. I don't know, something tells me he was born with that body. His skin was a light olive. He and his cousins were clearly mixed. Ni'klaus and his sister were mixed with more though. One of their parents were probably mixed as well. Their skin glowed a hue. My brother look more like me than I cared to admit. I also liked him more than I cared to admit. His skin was the same hue as mine. His eyes were the same color as mine. His eyes slanted like mine. While his eyebrows were indeed thicker with a more masculine feel to them, they were arched just like mine. His nose was even buttoned like mine. His hair though shaved on the sides was a mop of curly on top of his head. Dark as sin brown like my curls. And like mine, I suspected his became extremely light or even darker with passing seasons and light. It only made sense. I then started to wonder, "Are we twins?" I lean over and whisper in his ear. "I think so. I mean it wouldn't be surprising." He says looking over me with nothing but new found curiosity. I tune back into Mr. Motinxi. He's wrapping it up, thank god. "You 5 will be sent to a private school in Ballpark. You can choose to associate with each other in school or not. But as it's always been told to you..." He looks down at us and we all say "Trust is a fickle thing," In unison. He informs us that a plane will be sent for us in 2 hours exactly. I stand and make my way to the door. "Misses please stay for one moment." He calls out. I groan and stalk back over.
"I have 2 hours to pack, can you speed this up." I bark out like I have oh so much to pack. Synbia walks up to my side and I immediately pull over away from her arm. Mr. Motinxi sighs. "You ladies will share quarters on the plane. I just thought you would like to know ahead of time." I look over at Synbia and she scoffs and sneers her lip just for good measure. I cross my arm and crinkle one side of my face as to say "Likewise.". I step further away from her and then turn to walk out. I make my way back to my house where my aunts car is void of the driveway. Good. I don't want to say goodbye to that two timing bitch anyway. She didn't think she could let me in on this big ass secret? I scoff to myself and traipse up the stairs quickly. I speedily shove all my clothes into two suitcases and grab a bag to stuff my shoes and my minimal makeup in. I grab the picture of my mother and father and stuff that in my bag as well. I run down to the basement and open the armory. I grab a bag and fill it with knives, katanas, other swords, rope, guns, and redacting staffs. I take my bow and quiver of arrows too. Once I think I've got everything. I realize it's only been an hour. I go to the living room and wait. I thought about training but I'd just get carried away and with my luck miss a plane that's meant for me. Another 45 minutes pass and I walk outside but instead of an empty drive, there's a matte black Audi R8 in my driveway. It has tinted windows and I can't see inside. I reach for my extending staff/spear and hold it tightly in my hand. I widen my stance and tilt my head urging the visitor to step out. The window on the passenger side rolls down and a familiar head of dirty blonde hair sticks his head out of the window, "Hey there black widow, mind getting in the car," Veen smiles and adds "And please, gosh, put the weapon away." I shake my head and smile. As I make my way to the car I realize I forgot my toothbrush. I don't have my bags with me because Mr. Motinxi said someone would pick them up from our homes and take them to the destination. I put up a finger telling Veen and the other occupant to wait and run through the front door, up the stairs, and back down the stairs with my toothbrush and toothpaste in tow. I dash out the door and to the passenger side back door not wanting to get in behind whoevers driving. I slide into the leather seats and take in the car. Okay. I may be able to rub two dimes together but this car screams expensive. I look up and see the driver. Of frickin' course it's Ni'Klaus. I just can't help myself though. Cars are my weakness. "Damn, Ni'Klaus, this yours?" I ask with awe and impress lacing my voice.
