The right time to strike

What I thought was leaving me alone, was really waiting for the right time to strike. They stole my mask, and passed it back and forth between each other so I couldn't reach it. I tried desperately to get it back, but they wouldn't listen to me. Trip and Virus said they now understood why I wore my mask, how anyone would want to hide a face like mine. Trip dropped the mask, causing a small crack to form on the side. They walked away laughing, and I quickly put the mask back on before anyone could see my face. I left school early that day, hiding at the fishing docks once again. I talked to the jellyfish, forgetting that there was one other person who would listen. Tears filled my mask to the point where I could hardly breath. I hesitantly took it off, and slowly started to regret showing my face again. The jellyfish instantly swam away, leaving the water dark and cold. I looked at the reflection in the water that was apparently mine. My tears causing it to ripple as they fell onto the surface. It caused me to wonder if my face was really as strange as Trip and Virus said. For now, I believed them.....
