Your Pov

Soulmates.

Basically, everyone has one including me.

some say that finding your soulmate is the most amazing feeling in the whole entire world and that they would literally die for one another, some couples even mentioned in a documentary about the topic that their lives somehow got better once they met their other half.

its a feeling of completion and love, kind of like love at first sight.

some are fortunate to find the other part of themselves, while others ran out of luck...

I'm one of the lucky individuals whom soulmates are in fact still alive and well. how would I know?

good question.

I simply look at my wrist where my soulmark is located yet instead of the regular singular mark. in my case, mine is a bit unique then the rest.

I'm one of the 10% of the human population that has multiple soulmarks which means I have more than one soulmate.

it all started from a Russian male discovering that he has five soulmarks from all across the world, he found out that his soulmates used to be roommates when they were just starting freshmen year in college. they found each other through social media, its a pretty romantic love story that they even made a book followed by a movie about it. it was in the most popular romantic comedy movies in the world.

it was a pretty good story I recommend you check it out...

anyway, one fact about having a soulmark is that the mark won't show until you were on the age of 18. once you are that age you'll start having sudden urges from your soulmate, examples of those urges are sharing each others five senses at random times in a week.

if your other half was eating ice cream you can faintly taste the flavor of the sweet treat, if you were watching a film there's a chance that your soulmate was watching as well through your eyes.

now it can be a bit of a problem if you were changing or was in the shower whilst the sensing process was happening, but let's discuss that at another time.

Much like a handful of people I don't believe in such things as soulmates, I truly believe that I can choose my own fate, My own destiny. I don't like the fact that it was already planned way before I was born.

I hate to think that I can't choose who to love because it was already chosen for me.

But I will make sure to change my fate, I'll choose my own destiny and I won't let anything choose it for me-

Missus Vaii sighed placing the paper down on her desk before turning to look at me through her glasses. The sun was already setting from the horizon hitting both of us with its light.

I tightened my grip on my bag feeling my hands starting to sweat from the sudden silence. Missus vaii looked at my paper then at me before finally stating my score.

"B+" she said writing down the grade with a red pen. My jaw dropped in disbelief wondering what I did wrong, I worked hard on that paper with a week of research.

"I- may I at least know on what I did wrong?" I asked making her freeze from grading the other papers. Sighing she massages her forehead wrinkles being visible from stress.

"You keep doing it again and again Miss (Surname) you can't just pick a soulmate, it's impossible. your fate was already set for you before you were even born, though I'll admit I admire your passion and determination. but you can't just change something that can't be change... I'm sorry" she gave me a sad smile giving me my graded paper. I nodded giving her a small bow before walking out the classroom.

I frown looking at my paper sighing in disappointment at the grade before stuffing the paper carelessly inside my bag.

"Oi!! are ya commin or what?" a males voice called from the parking lot, I chuckled showing a small smirk looking up to see a familiar group of people, waving me over to their truck.

"Hurry up will ya?! we're starvin" Liam yelled not caring that his brown hair was blowing all over his face because of the windy weather, his green eyes only focusing on me whilst his best friend continued to honk the horn from the driver seat.  the only visible part of him was his golden blonde hair and his sun-kissed skin.

I rolled my eyes making sure to pick up my pace "alright, alright calm your horses" I said finally arriving next to the truck's window.

Liam raised an eyebrow at me. I scoff "get out, you sat there this morning it's my turn" I said moving my weight to my other leg impatiently

he let out a mocking laugh throwing his head back slightly, he turned back to me with a shit-eating smirk "sorry princess, but the early bird gets the worm" he winked.

I gave him a look unamused, a second later I sighed opening the truck's door and dragged him out without much difficulty. I slip inside easily locking the door just as he got back on his feet.

"YA!! you brat. get out before I kick your ass" he threatened I smirked "sorry princess but in this case, the strongest bird gets the worn" I said giving him the look of upmost innocence. he snickered "you talk shit for a pretty mouth"

I smiled "weird. was about to say the same thing, then I remembered nothing about you is pretty"

"Oh~ want an ice pack for that burn?" AJ yelled from the back, Liam glared at me with the look of disbelief "you wanna go (surname)?" He asked walking closer to the door.

"Alright snowflakes quit it. I'm hungry and I won't waste my time watching you two kill each other" Elias said from Beside me, I look at him then at Liam showing a smug smirk.

"Li just sit at the back" Elias said looking at his best friend, Liam sighed in Defeat before pointing a finger at me "this. Isn't over got it?" He threatened walking over to the back of the truck with Aj.

I chuckled looking out the window whilst Elias started to drive with the radio blasting some classic country music.
