All of us were now in our classes and non of us were talking. They lied to me. Throughout the 2 years of me not being informed about the ongoing animal attacks, they lied to me and told me that everything was fine, or at least that's what i'd assume they want me to think.

I'm currently sitting behind Taehyung and just by looking at him, It made me even more angrier.

It's not the fact that he didn't tell me anything but it's the fact that I wished he had told me something even after I left. Yet, he including the rest of them told me that everything was fine here in Hillford. What if one of them had died due to the animal attack and I didn't knew? What if I'll only find out about it when I return here, that could've been plenty years later?

I didn't want to do anything i'd regret so I asked the teacher for permission to go to the washroom.

I may be angry right now, but storming out of the class may create more trouble for me and bring attention which is what I hate.

I raised my hand, trying my best to make a sign that indicates the letter 'T' aka toilet, before getting a nod from the teacher and getting out of the damn classroom.

As I walked out of the classroom, I couldn't help but to glare at Taehyung as he tries his best to avoid making any eye contact with me.

Upon reaching the toilet, I was greeted by the large mirrors in the washroom. Suprisingly, they were clean unlike those tv shows that always showed high school toilet's dirty as heck.

"Principal Hyuk, another one of our students was found dead near the garden.", a voice said, coming from outside of the washroom.

"Alert Sheriff Kim, and make a fake announcement, ensuring that no student comes out of their classroom at all.", another voice responded. "He's back."

Soon, footsteps that seem to sound like people running were heard.

Who are they even referring to?

Unable to control my curiousity, I tried looking at the window for anything suspicious but nothing was to be found.

"Dear Students, this is a drill. Please remain in your classes. You are not allowed to leave any of your classrooms until further instructions."

"The garden..", I whispered to myself. "Next to the canteen.", I tried to recall. It's only been 2 years and I think i'm still familiar with this place.

I quickly ran to the canteen knowing where the garden was but stopped upon seeing teachers crowding the garden.

I tried my best to stay hidden and hid behind one of the pillars, peeking at what was going on while eavesdropping at their conversation at the same time.

"What are you doing here?", a voice asked earning a shoulder hit from me as I turnt to the voice.

It was Hobi.

"OUC-", Hobi screamed but I managed to cover his mouth so no one would noticed that we were hiding behind a pillar and to make him shut up.

Of course, out of all people, it had to be hobi that got hit by my shoulder.

He then tapped me, wanting me to let go of him and I signalled him to be quiet in which he understood causing me to slowly let go of him.

"Geez, I thought you were gonna choke my throat like what you did to Taeh-", he stopped as he sees me shooting a glare at him. "Nevermind."

I continued looking at what the teachers were doing, some of them were inspecting something that was covered in white cloth but they were definitely not touching it.

It took quite a while until I saw a familiar figure walking towards the teacher's direction.

"Sheriff Kim, it's been a long time.", Principal Hyuk said as he shakes hand with Sheriff Kim.

Isn't that Namjoon's dad?

"Where's the body?", Sheriff Kim asked and Principal Hyuk hurriedly ordered one of the teachers to open the white cloth.

Thank god we weren't really far from the garden since the canteen's right next to it.

I could see the body laying there, dead. It was a girl. She was scalpless, naked and blood was all over her head. Her body contained lots of bruises and her eyes were still opened, at least that's what I could tell by looking from here.

"Oh my god, isn't that-", Hobi said as he moved forward, trying to get a closer view of the body. "I know that girl. I think her name was Kim Ye Na.", he said.

Kim Ye Na? I've never heard of her before but i'm pretty sure this isn't an animal attack. How could an animal rip off someone's scalp perfectly from the head?

Moreover, how did the animal managed to strip off the victim's clothes? I'm sure the animal's not a rapist.

I could see Sheriff Kim taking out his gloves from one of his pockets and putting them on, while flipping the body.

An 'X' was cut along the victim's back.

"He really is back.", Sheriff Kim sighed as he stood up, taking out his gloves.

"You know what to do Principal Hyuk, we will take the body and you are to tell your students that it was an animal attack.", he said. "No student should ever find out that it is a serial murder."

Principal Hyuk could only nod at what Sheriff Kim was saying.

Namjoon was right. It wasn't an animal attack after all.

"We should leave. The teachers are headed this direction.", Hobi said, pulling me by the shoulders.

As much as I would want to witness what was gonna happen next, Hobi was right. We had to leave.

We both quickly got behind the pillar and ran back to our class, secretly, ensuring that no one would noticed.

As we got back in the classroom, the teacher asked, "Hoseok and Jin, where were you?".

We simply told the teacher that we were in the classroom all along and the others even helped us convinced the teacher. Thankfully the teacher fell for it however I could not stop thinking about one thing.

Was Sooyoung's death not an animal attack too?
