The Magic Heart Of A Hybrid. Chapter One.

Part Three

That night they all went to bed, all but Angela. She stayed up watching the area making sure her other 5 brothers were not around, but by the time she was going home she heard laughing under her as she was in the trees. (From Part two now going to part 3)

"Crap.. they are here.. Just as I thought I was safe.. I have to warn the others somehow.." Angela said in her head. She ran off in silence back to the house. She jumped through her window waking up Death Alpha.

Angela fell to her knees out of breath. "T-they are here. I need to run." Angela said with her ears down. Death Alpha walked out of the room and went outside. The 5 brothers walked up to the Death Alpha. "So you guys are here to finish her?" Death Alpha asked. One of the brothers gave a nod. 

Inside the house with Angela and the others. 

"Guys I can't be here.. They are gonna kill me!" Angela said walking back and forth in a panic. Op grabbed Angela by the shirt pulling her down to sit. "Shut up Angela, you are not gonna die with us here." Op said with his arms cost. Angela looked down with her ears down. "S-sorry.." Angela said. Ace and Dragon both looked at Op. "We ready to keep her safe then?" Ace asked. Op gave a nod. The door opened with Death Alpha walking in. Angela's ears go down in fear looking at her 6 brothers. "What do you want.." Angela said. Death Alpha walked up to Angela and whispered. "Run.. hide." Death Alpha said. 

Angela walked to her room. "I'll be right back brothers.." She gave a smile walking to her room. "She's so weak and useless, I can't believe we ran all around just to find her here deep in the woods. She changed her sent so much I didn't even realize it was hers the hole time." One of the brothers said angrily. Dragon, Ace and Op looked at her brothers with anger.

"So, you guys wanna kill our friend?" Ace asked Angela's brothers. Angela had her ears up listening to them from upstairs. "Yea, She is too weak, yet she is Alpha of the pack." Jaden said. "Jaden she is not as weak she beat you up right away after you trying to harm her." Death Alpha said. "Shut it! You tried to harm her as well!" Jaden yelled. Angela walked down the stairs holding a bag. Ace and Op looked at Angela. "What is in the bag Angela?" Ace asked. "Something for my brothers that they wanted before I was kicked out of my home..." Angela replied. Her brothers looked at her. "The magic heart that can make you stronger.. But we all have to be surrounding it for it to choose the right person that it trusts with its power.." Angela said.

"Wait. how do you know this?" one of her other brothers asked. Angela looked at them. "I found research about the heart where I found it. I looked around the books before going further into the cave that I found it in.." Angela said.

Angela put gloves on and set it on the table. Her brother and herself stood in a circle around the heart. "How do we get it to choose one of us?" Death Alpha asked. "Remember the chant we did as kids? Turns out its for the heart. We have to say the chant 10 times together." Angela said. Angela and her brothers all looked at each other and they saw the same thing. They seen each other as kids and Angela started to cry. "The love or a magic heart, choose one of us to hold your power. The love of a magic heart, choose one of us to hold your power!" Angela and her brothers said. The heart started to glow and floated into the air. Angela fell to the floor crying as she saw her brothers when they were younger and happy to have her. Dragon tried to walk to Angela to hug her but Op and Ace held him back. "You can't get close to her right now Dragon.." Ace said. 

The heart started floating to Angela and she heard a voice. "Hold the heart." The voice said.

Angela looked up and held the heart close to her chest as she cried. The magic heart disappeared into her chest. Jaden and the other brothers all growled at her. "HOW!?!" Jaden asked yelling. Death Alpha looked at his brothers. "She misses us. But we just want her dead." Death Alpha said. Dragon ran to Angela to give her a hug. Angela gave a hug back to him as she tried to stop crying. 

Dragon picked her up and carried her to the couch. "Rest Angela, we will make sure your brothers don't harm you." Op said to Angela. Angela curled into a ball an rested her eyes.

"Well maybe she does deserve the magic that it holds. Because we can't control ourselves from trying to harm her." Death Alpha said. 

Jaden looked at Angela laying there in pain. "I'm not sorry for what I did.." Jaden said, lying to his brothers. 

Angela sits up looking at Jaden as her eyes start to glow red. "Jaden lies about not being sorry for what he did." Angela says. Angela falls to the floor after her eyes go back to normal. Dragon looked at Angela. "What was that...?" Dragon asked. 

Ace looked at her brothers. "That heart, it has the power to tell if someone lies or not. She can't control her powers yet so we can't say lies in front of her till she controls it." Ace said in anger towards Angela's brothers. Angela's brothers looked at each other in silence and walked outside. Angela sat up holding her head. "That power is too much for me to handle.. I don't think I can control the power.." Angela said holding her head in pain. "Angela, I remember reading a book about that kind of heart. If you can not control the power in at least 6 months then that heart will take control of your body making a whole new you to where we will have to find the necklace to lock the power away." Dragon said looking at Angela. 

Angela looked down scared. 

"I don't think I can control the power in time.. We need that necklace now so we have it for later.." Angela said in her head. 

Dragon looked at her. "Then we must go find it now then." Dragon said to Angela Angela looked at Dragon. "Wait what.. Did you just read my mind?" Angela asked. Ace an Op looked at Dragon. "Yea you must have, because we did not hear her say anything." Ace said to Dragon. Dragon looked at Ace and Op. "Yea, we need that necklace and now. That means we are on a hunt." Dragon said to Ace and Op.
