Dear Brady,

Wow, I really miss you. I hope Florida's still great. I'm sure it is; you've got the sun, beach, and ocean. You should learn how to surf. With that long blonde hair, you've got that surfer-guy look going. All you'd need is a cool board.

West Cliff has been pretty eventful since you left. Trent and Paisley actually started dating. I mean, I'm sure Paisley's called you or something to let you know, but for the past few weekends, they've been going on dates. She loves how he got a full-ride scholarship to Monraville University for baseball, because she gets to see him all the time.

My dad proposed to Ireland last week. I'm not really sure how I feel about it. If he's happy, I'm happy, I guess.

Because most of the people on The Lit Lamp team were seniors, they almost had to shut down the whole newspaper club due to lack of participants. But, I'm glad to report that Paisley and I came together to recruit twenty new members, some from each grade. Including me; I'm now on the team! I have to give you all props, it's definitely not as easy as it looks, buthey, it's pretty fun. There's nothing like seeing your writing that you've worked so hard on in print for all the students to see.

For some reason, The Dairy's been pretty busy lately. Which is well deserved, because you were right, they definitely have the very best ice cream. And every Friday, Paisley and I go watch the talent show at The Lounge. That place is getting more and more popular.

I heard Gage is coming back next week to visit from Yale. Well, at least that's what his mom said. And you know how she can be.

So, I haven't gone completely crazy without you guys yet, but maybe it'll just take time. I keep getting letters from colleges interested in me, and guess what one of them is? The University of Miami. I just might be interested.

Fall break is way too far away, but I guess I'm going to have to keep missing you until then. I hope you're enjoying yourself. Can't wait to see you, and our group of four will finally be reunited. About time.

I miss you, so much.

Nicolette.
