Crash

The event

Tonya's Pov
"Steve!!!!! Steve!!!!" My mom shouted I snapped awake wondering what was happening my dad wasn't yet home and i never sleep unless his home but this particular night I slept before he arrived. I ran to the sitting room and i watched my mom as she looked terrified I was still confused then she went outside and i followed I opened my mouth in shock smoke was everywhere the truck was burnig my mom started to scream "everyone help!!!!!!!!!" "Help" she kept screaming and i started screaming too and my brother jumped out of the house seeing what was happening he shouted "get my car key!!" He said just once and i hurried inside picking it up he collected it from me and opened his car only to bring out a fire extinguisher since there was none in the house except in the cars I just stood there unable to go through the smoke cause i was partially blind i just stood there dumb folded my mom had opened the gate for the neighbours to enter so they could help then my brother screamed at me again "get mom's car key theres a fire extinguisher there" I nodded and ran as fast as i could then i went to my mom's car opened the door and searched everywhere but didn't find it on the verge of giving up I decided to check under the car seat and behold I found it and i ran towards the fire screaming "I found it" people started gushing in and started fetching loads of water to stop the fire as the fire fighters in my country are dormant I started helping out by fetching water at one point when the first water tap started coming out slowly I started crying wondering if this was how it would end I couldn't even breath well I was scared and terrified it was just so awful after a few minutes a woman my neighbour said i should get inside and i asked why and she just repeated the same thing then i went to my mom "take this and go inside" she gave me her phone and i obeyed Immediately I entered I started crying a few minutes later I came out only to see my dad and a bunch of other people the burning truck was no longer burning but it was burnt no one knew what happened. I thought back to all that has been happening for the past one year and how all i have done and thought about was myself and how i felt and what i wanted I never thought of what would happen if i lost anyone so close to me.
It was all over as i got out people were clearing out I got out my night attire  soaked in tears pretending everything was all right.
