Breaking down

      It was a good day to be out on the road,4 friends thought while driving peacefully through a field. They have Just graduated highschool only a few days ago, they decided to all take a trip together.
    Their plan was to drive all over the states with Mik as their driver. He was the smart one of the group one of the top students in his class. Next to him was a girl named lizzy. She was very shy and quiet but always good for a smile. Next there is halle a booksmarts girl placing in the top 3 of her class. Last but not least sitting in the back was Jeremiah passing in the lower grades compared to everyone else.

   The 4 friends have been together since grade 5. They've always stuck by each other and wanted to start there adulthood with a good time.

"Okay so are we gonna stop anywhere to eat yet?"

"Jeremiah you literally ate 5 minutes ago" -yelled halle

"Um...so? I'm starving"

"Well then starve"- lizzy jumped in

"All of you quiet down, i'll stop at the next town up." Mik calmly said

    They kept on driving with everyone sitting in a somewhat awkward silence. The road was getting a bit more rough with each second.  Until out of nowhere everyone heard a loud BANG

"CRAP!'

    Mik yelled as the car started spinning trying to regain control of the car everyone was holding on to the doors for dear life until the car rolled over and landed upside down in a ditch

Lizzy had passed out due to fear. Everyone's main mission was getting out of that car. There was smoke everywhere. Mik smashed open his window and crawled out with only minor injuries caused by the glass. Everyone else crawled out the back passenger seats. Mik made sure to grab hold of Lizzy before anything bad happened. He ran with the unconscious girl in his arms just 10 feet away from the car before it exploded causing him to fall forward spraining his ankle.

"Mik! Lizzy!!"

Everything went silent. The smoke started to blow away revealing blood pouring down from miks forehead. He could barely move. But he couldn't just leave lizzy there. He tried with all strength to get up. The pain he felt was intense but it was no match for his willpower. He got up with lizzy in his arms. Lizzy still unconscious was placed down beside halle and jeremiah As mik collapsed to the ground next to them. They all were checking for wounds on mik and lizzy. They seen a large cut above miks right eye where the blood was pouring out and lizzy had a deep cut on her left arm. Nothing fatal. But it needed to be treated.

Jeremiah pulls out his cell phone and dials 9-1-1. However, there was no cell reception. All lost without contact only a dirt road that went on for miles. Halle was looking around to see if there was any sign of a nearby town or anything that could help them at this point. But she had no luck. Jeremiah noticed a old looking wooden cabin in the woods past the fields.

"Hey guys look over there!"-he yelled

"Should we go check it out? We'll need somewhere at least under a roof for the night while we try and figure this out. Plus there might be someone who can help us."

"I agree i say we should go check it out"

"I'm all in i guess?"

"Okay we have to get Mik back on his feet"

     Jeremiah and Halle grabbed mik by both of his arms and helped him back up. He was able to stand again with the help of them. Lizzy had woken up to hear the previous conversation. She was already back on her feet ready to go. The four of them started slowly walking through the field.

     Once they reached the cabin, the group felt chills run down their spines. Jeremiah decided he wanted to go in first but Halle insisted on going in with him. The two of them walked in first with a small keychain flashlight Halle had.

     Right as they walked in the door behind them slammed shut. They heard a loud almost rubbling like sound coming from above them. And then out of nowhere a massive axe swung down attached to a rope nearly taking Jeremiah's head off.

   Mik and lizzy were trying their hardest to break down the door but with no success.  They started running along the sides of the cabin looking for another way inside. But there was none, not even a single window.

    Jeremiah and Halle tried their best to stay calm.  Halle started walking around with her flashlight. She noticed their seemed to be dried blood everywhere.

"Maybe this is an abandoned slaughter house."

"yeah ...maybe...still i wanna get out this place it gives me the creeps."

    They tried to find a way out but jeremiah stepped on something and they heard a loud clicking sound. They started to panic until all the sudden arrows started flying around the room left and right. One hitting jeremiah right in the head. He fell to the floor as halle laid down beside his corpse praying for her life.
  
    There she laid in horror and shock seeing her dead friend with blood pouring out of his head and mouth, his eyes were rolled in the back of his head and he was already à stiff à a board. It was an ugly seen. She started to scream. Which caused Mik and lizzy to panic . they started banging on the walls as hard as they could. Until mik found a weak spot they ran into it causing the wall come to down almost on  top of halle. The three of them started holding each other at the sight of jeremiah's corpse. They all thought that this horor was finally over.
