As soon as they dragged him away everything turned back to normal. "That was a close one." Piper says. After that, Piper walks me to my therapist. He looks young. Maybe around his late twenties. He has dark brown eyes and short reddish hair. His face is full of freckles. "Hello Lacey nice to meet you I am your new therapist. My name is Dr. Grant." he says.

______Piper's POV________________________

As soon as I leave Lacey with her therapist I start to walk around and make sure nobody saw what really happened. I ask Miserie about it. She just shrugs and then walks away. I remember that I have to take my pills. If you ask me I think that it's just useless. I walk up to the counter in the pharmacy. The walls are painted light green. There is a clear glass window that seperates us from the nurses. This was partly my fault. I got pissed off when one of the nurses insulted me so, I kind of attacked her. Nothing too serious. Just a couple of bruises.

The nurse looks at me. She slides a tiny plastic cup to me. It has one tiny purple pill and two blue pills. I take it from her without saying anything. I move out of their sight. I throw away the purple pill. The blue pills help me remember things. The purple one supposedly helps my mood from changing so suddenly. I told my therapist so many times that I don't need those dumb pills or their help.

I go to my art therapy class. My art instructor acts like she is high most of the time but you get used to it after awhile. "Go ahead and do whatever you want." She says. "Can we leave this retarded place?" A guy asks from the back. "Hey," I yell. "That is an inappropriate use of retarded." "Piper.Shut. Up." The guy says. I smile. Getting people angry is my talent. We end up throwing paint at each other, another kid has a break down, and art class was closed for week due to our "uncontrollable behavior". I check the time. I realize that I have to go pick up Lacey.

_______________Lacey's POV__________________________________________________________________________

Dr. Grant writes something on his clipboard. "Lacey don't you want to get better?" He asks. "There is nothing wrong with me. I'm eating, I'm not seeing things and I feel fine." I say. "I think you probably just don't remember anything that had happened before Cane Hill due to your fall earlier." he tells me. He isn't listening. "I'm normal!" I scream. "I don't need help!" He writes something else on his clipboard. "Lacey everyone is here for a reason. We're going to find your reason. We will schedule some tests for next week. It was nice to meet you." He says. Then he holds out his hand for me to shake it. I walk out without saying anything.

Piper is waiting outside. "How did it go?" Piper asks. I don't say anything. "That bad huh?" She asks. I nodd. "Don't worry you will get used to it." Piper says. We pass by a large metal door with a small window. I could hear loud banging. "What is in there?" I ask. "A girl named Sue." Piper answers. "She has been in and out solitary for over five years." "Why?" I ask. "She keeps killing patients." She tells me. I see a girls face pop through the window. "Help!" She shrieks. She has brown eyes and brown hair that goes up to her shoulders. Her hair looks like she has not washed it in years. She has heavy bags under her eyes. She has a scar on her cheek. Her skin is as pale as paper and she has scratch marks all over her. Her face has several bruises on them. Sue has a plain white straight jacket on so that she can't hurt herself.

"She used to be fine before this." Piper says. "I knew her. She was always jumpy and happy. She might have saw some things that were not there but, other than that she was mostly normal." "What happened?" I ask. "One day she had a small cold so she went to the doctor. When she came out she was never the same." Piper replies. "Shouldn't we try and stop them?" I ask. "They always win," Piper replies. "They will break and destroy us slowly just like Sue."
