Unlike every other royal staff, Namjoon wasn't at the ball. He'd attended the first half of it and when the partying began at around 11PM, he left and went into the kingdom's streets.

The treats were full of people dancing, beating to traditional, playing traditional instruments and having the time of their lives. At the same time fireworks were exploding into the air. There was food shared to everyone. The entire kingdom was partying. The streets were so full that cars couldn't circulate. No one was using his car that night.

Namjoon walked until he reached the peasant quarters that were even more crowded. The streets there smelt of alcohol and cigarettes. There was a lot of dancing too.

Namjoon reached the brothel where Jin worked. Of course it was very full inside and there was a long line waiting outside to enter. Namjoon could go in freely if he wanted to, but he had something else in mind. He waited for the guards to be distracted by the long line and then rushed past them to the back of the building, to the back door that Jin had showed him. He went up the rusted stairs to the door and luckily, it was open. He immediately entered.

Namjoon sneaked his way successfully into the brothel. It was even more crowded that usual and the air was musty and hot. He ignored it and went up to the upper floor without anyone seeing him. He got to room number three and tried to open it. It was locked. Namjoon turned and looked over the little balcony that shown down on the messy crowd downstairs. No one seemed to have noticed him up there.

'Gotta be fast.' he thought and pulled out the pin he'd brought with him. He started manipulating the door's lock and succeeded in unlocking it.

"Yes," he whispered and immediately entered the room.

He looked around and saw that there were candles lit everywhere as usual. He was going to check around when suddenly, someone stepped out from behind the changing wall.

"Who is-" Jin froze with wide eyes.

"Seokjin??" Namjoon called with great relief, a smile on his face. He was going to approach the older but halted when he saw that Jin was in nothing but a pair of black boxers. He wore a silk robe too but it wasn't tied.

"What are you doing here?!" he whispered aloud, immediately covering himself and tying his robe.

"Really?? Where have you been," Namjoon got closer until they were face to face, "It's been two weeks, Seokjin. I haven't seen or heard from you," Namjoon said with a little frown.

"N- Namjoon you should go," Jin stuttered and Namjoon noticed how restless, almost afraid, Jin looked. It worried him. The usually poised and confident Jin was gone.

"Jin, what's wrong?" Namjoon whispered and then realised something with wide eyes, "Wait. Have you been locked up in here??"

"Shht! Namjoon, go!" Jin insisted, weakly pushing Namjoon's chest, "You shouldn't be here, okay?? I'm fine. Just go."

"No," Namjoon stood firm, his buff body, nothing that Jin could could compare with.

"Oh gawd," Jin rubbed his temples restlessly, "Why are you here?? I'm fine. You can leave now."
