Chapter Four

Four Years Later

It has been four years since I been found and adopted by my family but I didn't know I was adopted until I was sitting there at the breakfast table looking at my mom, then Jax and then my dad. Jax looked like mommy a little bit but not like daddy and I looked nothing like any of them.

" Mama?"

" Yes baby?"

" How come I don't look like you all? Jax looks like you but not dad."

Just before mom could answer Jax and my dad walked in.

" Guys we need to have a sit down, we need to tell Shelly the truth."

What was she talking about?

" Mom what is going on?"

" Four years ago Uncle Wayne brought you to us because he found you all alone in a motel room, it was supposed to be temporary but we fell in love with you instantly so me and your dad adopted you and made you ours."

" My mom didn't want me?"

" Baby they never found your mom, no birth records nothing, we didn't care we loved you then and we still love you."

" Why doesn't Jax look like daddy?"

" He is my step son, his dad passed away and I married his mom."

" Wow so you guys didn't even know me and still took me in."

" Are you made sis?"

" No, I understand why you did it and I am happy to have a loving family to take me in."

Mom seemed relieved I wasn't mad, we ate breakfast and then was getting ready for my first day of kindergarten. I was scared but excited at the same time, I didn't want to leave my family or Shadow who was the size of a pony. She was a great dog and also protected me, but the guys at the Club promised me a escort to school and a mom was throwing a party afterwards.

As in cue I heard the familiar rumble of bikes and then the men I consider Uncles and Bubby walked in with Sissy and I ran to her and gave her a hug but was hard to do because her belly was huge, Sissy was pregnant and having twins. I was happy to be a big sister and went to all her appointments.

" You ready baby?"

" Yes Sissy."

So I got my backpack and we were off, Donna rode with us. Daddy and Jax lead the way and the rest followed behind us, it was so amazing watching them how they rode in unison and precision. I felt like a actual Princess and they were my body guards, well they were my protectors.

Mom dropped me off and I blew kisses to my family and a teacher or an aide took me to my room and introduce me to my classmates, I was a little bit scared but found out one of my friends from the Club Jacob was there and he ran over to me.

" Shelly you are in my class I am so happy."

" Me too Jacob."

We stayed with each other all day and it made it easier to get through the day with someone I knew, school ended and mom and the Club was here waiting on me, I waved by to Jacob but he told me he knew about the party and would see me there.

I talked to mommy and sissy the way telling them about my day and how Jacob was in my class, his mom was the bartender at the Club and was currently dating Uncle Tig. We pulled into the lot and daddy parked his bike and walked over to the car and opened up my door and picked me up and put me on his shoulders.

" Daddy your silly."

" The Princess doesn't walk."

He took me into the Clubhouse with everyone else falling behind, I seen Jacob and asked daddy to put me down and I ran over to him and he hugged me and I hugged him back. We were talking about our day and then daddy made an announcement.

" Today was Shelly's first day of kindergarten and didn't cry or throw a fit to go, she made us all proud today."

" Daddy?"

" Yes baby?"

" Can this be Jacob's day too?"

" Sure baby."

" To Shelly and Jacob."

Jacob was surprised he was getting a party as well.

" Shelly why are you sharing your party with me?"

" You are my best friend and deserve a day too."

He hugged me and hugged him back and we had fun with everyone. I was passed around and Jacob too, he was having fun and I was glad.

" Man she is something Clay."

" Yes she is Miranda."

" She didn't have to share this day with Jacob but he went on and on about being in her class. He was with his best friend and was happy."

" She amazes me everyday, she is going to be a great women."

Shadow was with us having fun as well, she was running around the lot where me and Jacob ran off to under supervision of course and then I seen a familiar car pull in and it was Uncle Wayne. He got out and came up to me,

" Hey Shelly."

" Hey Uncle Wayne."

" I heard it was your and Jacobs special day so I got you guys something."

He pulled out two gifts and Jacobs face lite up like a kid on Christmas, he ran off to open it and it was a toy gun and mine was a dress up kit.

" Thank you Uncle Wayne."

" Your welcome Princess."

" Oh Uncle Wayne."

" Yes."

" Thank you for saving me."

" Your welcome baby, your mom tell you the truth?"

" Yes."

" Are you mad?"

" No I am happy because if you hadn't found me god knows what would have happen to me, I am thankful for you bringing me to my family. Your my hero Uncle Wayne and I love you."

" I love you too Shelly Morrow."

We hugged and kissed, then I ran off to play with my best friend. Wayne watched us play and knew he made the right choice and brought me here. I was a good girl and would grow to be a great women.
