Chapter 12: The world comes to an end

He looked into my eyes “Faith, I am still in love with you and I flew all the way here to see if I have a chance of making you mine. I hope you read the letters so you know just how much you mean to me. If you really don’t want to be with me then look me in the eyes and tell me that you just want to be friends and I will never bother you about it again.”

I took a deep breath and looked into his blue eyes

 “Niall, I cared so much about you before I even met you. You meant the world to me and I wanted nothing more than to make you happy. I wanted to make sure that no one would ever hurt you and that you were loved the way you deserve to be loved. I wanted to hold you when you cried and tell you that its alright. I wanted to be there through the bad and good times."  I paused and look at him "As you know that is not going to happen. What I need for you know is to please stop chasing me and realize that chasing me is like chasing the clouds. You are not going to get anywhere. I love Connor and he is the one for me. I need you to open your eyes and find the girl out there who is meant for you, she is not me"  When I was done I pulled Niall into a hug. "Are you sure this is what you want?" he asked me as I pulled away "I am sure" I replied. 

Two days later I woke up to a very angry boyfriend standing over my bed "Connor" I screeched happily and grabbed him "What are you doing back so early?" I asked him. He shook me off and glared at me "Don't act all innocent" he snapped. I pulled out my phone and looked at all my notifications to see if I could find out what he was talking about "Look I honestly have no idea what you are talking about" I told him as I set my phone down. Connor handed me his phone and I saw the picture of me hugging Niall and the caption said "Did Niall win the girl back?"  I scanned over the article then handed Connor his phone back,             "How many photos are there of you hugging fans?" "Uhh.. A lot" he said " You can not compare that to this" he spat and threw his phone down. "Why can't I?" I said putting my hands on my hips "I am a huge Directioner and my favorite has always been Niall. That photo was simply a photo of me seeing and hugging my favorite One Direction band member. It shouldn't be a big deal. You are making a mountain out of a molehill."     "You are the one that is being ridiculous. You very well know that none of them tried to date me and couldn't take a hint. You told me that I shouldn't worry about him then he shows up at your doorstep after I go on tour. I call that something to worry about because he obviously can't stay away from you and you are still in love with him. Why am I even here?!"  Connor huffed then stormed out of the house and drove off.
