*Paul's Necklace* As I walked into the Gym with my friends,I heard other students whisper, "Freak!" I looked down in shame.Tonight is the homecoming dance and Jon didn't even think about asking me so I went with Sammy and Tim.I wore a simple black tux with a coral shirt and tie.My blonde hair was hidden by a fedora but my tail was showing so everyone saw it.Sammy growled at whoever sent me a weird look which made them turn away quickly.I walked ahead and sat on the far end of the bleachers for a while.I spotted Sammy dancing with her boyfriend Miguel and Tim dancing with Noah not far behind Sammy. After the upbeat song,a song i knew by heart started playing.I took a deep breath and walked onto the stage and grabbed a microphone.I tapped my foot to the rhythm of the song then started singing.

I sang the song until the end.People were staring at me with awe and confusion.Jon looked up at the stage to see who was singing.He was making out with a girl against the wall.His eyes widened when he saw me.I felt tears come to my eyes.H-He cheated on me. "Paul?"He asked.I ran off the stage crying.I pushed past couples and ran out of the gym.I wiped my eyes and yanked off my necklace that he gave me and threw it on the ground.I fell against a wall and cried into my arms.I hate my life.Ever since my sister 'died',my life has been a living hell "How could I be so stupid?"I said.I picked up the necklace and threw it as far as i could into the gym."Nobody's feeling sorry for ya...."I sang softly as I cried.I pushed my head up against the wall."Even the homecoming Queen cries..."I continued. "Paul?"A feminine voice asked.I looked up to see a pretty blonde girl kneeling next to me.She wore a dark blue cocktail dress and a matching pair of heels."Are you okay?"She asked.I shook my head.She sat beside me."I heard you singing.You have some serious skill."Her voice sounded familiar, like i knew it from somewhere...She sounded like my....sister. "Caitlyn?"I asked. Caitlyn smiled answering my question. "A-Are you dead?"I asked. "What?No,I'm not dead or whatever story Amanda wants you to believe.I just moved to England with my boyfriend and it looks like you live here too."Caitlyn stood up and offered me her hand."Now let's go back in there and watch the homecoming king get murdered by your friends."I took her hand and stood up then walked back in with her.I watched Jon get punched in the face by Tim, then kneed in the groin by Sammy.Jon groaned and clutched his groin.I walked over and picked Jon up by the shirt "Next time think before you cheat."I growl throwing him down.Jon scurried away from me with fear.I grinned and walked out of the gym."Damn that felt good."I said.I felt some metal under my shoe,It was my necklace.I glanced around and shoved it into my pocket......Maybe there's hope yet.
