I never thought my life would change, I always thought I was gonna be a normal girl, I was gonna finish college, have a family one day, and have a really good job. All that went out the drain that night, I just had to be stupid, and I had to sneak out, but I couldnt deal with my mom complaining about where my dad could be. I was so sick of wondering where my dax was so my mom could stop complaining. I was tired of hearing them fight 24/7. And the worst of this all it hurt me to see my little brother so broken and afraid and not knowing how to help him. Not being able to help him. I had to go out that night, I stayed in every night to make sure my brother was ok. I just needed this one night to myself. To go out and be a 19 year old girl, and go to my first college party. So thats exactly what I did, and boy do I regret it.
