With all of his words in my mind, I stood on the ledge.
I don't know why I wanted to end it.
To feel happiness, perhaps.
To remember the way he held me.
To feel the blood rush through my veins once more.
To feel alive.
"Violet! No, don't you jump. I'm sorry, I-I should've never lied. You did help me. I'm so sorry. Please."
"I'm sorry Xavier, but I was already dead."
I felt the wind rush past my hair, and I took one last breath before I jumped into the river.
I ended it where it all started.
