Brief backstory:

Alice's life was marked by tragedy early on when a car accident took her father away. Devastated and looking to imitate the connection she'd had with her late husband, Alice's mom Elanor got engaged, married and divorced several times, which put a strain to her relationship with Alice.

But Alice was not an unhappy child. Cheering her up were her best friends, the twins Skyler and Bethany Miller, and she enjoyed visiting her three maternal aunts with whom she had much in common... And it all related to tea and herbs.

When things became too tense between Alice and Elanor, Alice moved in with her loving aunts which led to her meeting first Caden Kavanagh, then Keegan McNeil and Asher Rowan. These new potential friends - are they just friends? - might be just what Alice needs to get out of her shell and become a stronger person.
