Jesse gets up nice and early and starts of the day milking Ms. Bessie then sets the fresh milk down on the table. He hears the yelling of Maybelle coming from the living room. “Jesse, Jesse!“ Maybelle yells. Jess runs into the living room thinking Maybelle was hurt “Maybelle are you ok?“ Jess asked. “Yeah, I just wanna go to Terabithia“ Maybelle tells Jesse with a demanding face. “Ahh ok, but first you need to know the rules of Terabithia“ Jess tells Maybelle. “but, you told me that I was gonna be the new Queen of Terabithia” Maybelle cried with a sad face. “Well, the new queen needs to know Terabithia rules or they ain’t a true queen“ Jess explained. “Ok“ Maybelle sighed. “I will tell you during school“ Jesse told Maybelle.

Maybelle and Jesse jump onto the bus and sat there listening to Janice Avery teasing little girl in the back seat. Jess and Maybelle hope off the bus.“Well, now you gonna tell me about the rules now?“ questioned Maybelle. “Ok, first you need to know how to imagine, second always be brave and third be happy, NEVER EVER BE SAD OR YOU WILL BE TAKEN AWAY!” Jess told Maybelle.“Ok, that’s easy Jess!” Maybelle tells Jesse trying not to be frighten. “Ok, now you know the rules of Terabithia” Jess tells Maybelle. “We will go straight to Terabithia after school“ Jess told Maybelle. “Ok Jess!“ Maybelle replied happily.

A few hours later Jesse and Maybelle hoped back on the bus and sat down talking about Terabithia but, they both didn’t realize Janice had followed them home she was listening to Jesse and Maybelle’s conversation during school about there secret place called Terabithia. When they arrived Jesse and Maybelle through their backpacks down close by some trees. “Race you to the end of the road Maybelle!“ Jess yelled. “OJess, but don’t run to fast!“ Maybelle yelled.

Janice was running behind all the trees so that Jesse and Maybelle didn’t see her she got to the end of the road and saw Jess and Maybelle. Standing across from a bridge that went across a little river. “This must be where they enter Terabithia“ Janice whispered to herself. Jess runs across the bridge followed close by Maybelle. Jesse grabs a crown off of the edge of the bridge and places it on Maybelle’s head and says. “Creatures of Terabithia this will be your new queen, now bow down!“ Jesse says while smiling at Maybelle, Maybelle smiles with happiness “Jess! Jess! What are they saying?” Maybelle questioned tugging on his shirt. “They are very happy to see their new ruler of Terabithia“ Jess answered. Maybelle smiled, A couple of seconds later after the ceremony they could see something in the distance coming towards them. “Jesse can you see that?“ asked Maybelle with confusion. “Yes!“ Jess screamed grabbing Maybelle and running to their kingdom. ‘’Jess what’s happening?“ Maybelle screamed.  "The evil queen is attacking and we need to prepare before she gets to our kingdom“ Jess told Maybelle while puffing.  

Jess grabbed his sword of light and gives Maybelle a shield and a sword to protect herself. “Maybelle stay in the kingdom until I say its safe to come down!“ Jesse yelled while holding off a evil goblin that had been sent by the evil queen Janice. Jess turns around and sees Janice standing next to her goblin guards. “Janice?“ Jess says to himself confused.”Yes Jess?“ Janice says with a evil grin on her face. “But, how do you know about Terabithia?“ Jess questions Janice while walking back slowly. “I over heard you and Maybelle talking at school and I wanted to join” Janice replied. Something hits Janice on her head “OUCH!“ screamed Janice in pain. Jess turns his head and sees Maybelle laughing “MAYBELLE!“ yells Jess. “What! I was only helping“ Maybelle replies with a droopy face.  "JESS LOOK OUT!“ Maybelle yells.

Janice swings her lava sword at Jess, Jess ducks and kicks Janice over and pins her to the ground. Before Jess could say anything he was lifted into the air and thrown. “Ahhhhhhhhh!“ yells Jess.“HAHAHAHA!“ laughs Janice evily. Just before Jess hits the ground the Tree Guardian catches him. “Thank you“ Jess says. Jess gets back up on his feet and runs straight for Janice but Janice was gone. “Maybelle come down its safe“ Jess yelled. “Is the evil witch gone?" Maybelle asked. “Yes, well until now, I have a feeling we will be seeing her again“ Jess tells Maybelle.

Just as Jess finished saying that he they would see Janice again the ground started shaking Jess held onto his sword of light and grabbed Maybelle’s hand “Ok, we need to find her castle“ Jess tells Maybelle.“But where we gonna look first?“ Maybelle asked. Jess turns around and looks through the mist of the forest and sees a huge castle that has lava flowing down the side and crows with red eyes circling the tree tops. “I think I just found it“ jess tells Maybelle while pointing towards the castle. “Yep I think you have Jess!“ Maybelle replied with wide eyes. They both started walking towards the castle of evil when they both felt the ground shake again. “WOAH!“ they both screamed as a huge worm with fangs come towards them. Jess Ran up to the worm and slices its head right open “EWWWWW!“ shrieked Maybelle looking like shes about to vomit. “Ok, Lets continue on“ Jess whispered like nothing every happened.

When they reached the castle Janice was waiting for them. “Oh, Look who turned up“ Janice yelled.“Why are you doing this Janice your taking over Terabithia!“ Jess yells. “yeah, Janice“ Maybelle says trying to be brave like her older brother jess. “BECAUSE!“ Janice yells. "That doesn't explain anything!" Jess yells back at her. Janice looks at him weirdly and says "Dose it look like i care?". Janice rolls her eyes and sends her 5 evil crows down to attack Maybelle and Jess “ATTACK! “ Janice screams.

Jess jumps up into a nearby tree and takes out one of the crows “Jess! Look out!“ Maybelle screams. Jess gets slammed into the ground by another evil crow.  “MAYBELLE HELP!“ Jesse screams. Maybelle grabs Jesses sword of light and swings and stabs the crow “JESS, JESS! I did it!" Maybelle screams with excitement. Jess smiles, and looks at Janice while the other 3 crows fly off back to Janice. “Come join our side we can rule together and slay evil we have one more spot come join our side and leave evil!“ Jess yells out to Janice hoping she will join. “NO WHAT ARE YOU DOING!“ Maybelle screams. “Maybelle shhhhhhhhhh!, your not helping!“ Jess says. Maybelle stands there with a straight face and crosses her arms with anger. “So will you come join the good?“ Jess Questions. “Ok, ok only if I get to have my own kingdom“ Janice Replied. “Ok, sure why not“. Maybelle copies every word that Janice said "Ok, ok only if i get my own kingdom!". "MAYBELLE! STOP!" Jess yells. "WHATEVER!"Maybelle walks off saying "Jess, this was a bad idea". Jess just looks and stares and tells himself "Nahh!".
