Kirishima laid his head on his pillow. His body felt hard to move, his brain felt like dead weight. His hair didn't even have gel in it as it drooped down his face. He couldn't go to school like this, he couldn't even face his friends like this.
He felt like he was drowning.
Like life was choking him slowly. He was at his lowest of lows right now. Everything felt the same at school, at home, everywhere yet he felt like he wasn't doing enough. Maybe he did have a boring lifestyle or wasn't doing something in order.
He felt like he was getting teased for missing something on the instructions. Or if he just didn't read the instructions at all.
It was currently eight o'clock and Kirishima laid their for most of the morning, not even bothering to get up for the bathroom. No tears came out his tired red eyes as he shifted his face on his side.
"Dude...?" A voice called out to him. It was gentle and soothing to him yet he didn't answer. He couldn't answer. "Uh...I don't know if you're asleep or anything but we have school today did you forget?" Of course it was his friend Kaminari. It was always him checking up on his well-being.
"Mr. Aizawa told me to tell you to either go to class or to go to recovery girl...or do neither because he could care less." Kirishima groaned and placed his head in the pillow, too drained to answer. The blonde grew nervous.
The usual bubbly ray of sunshine is now trapping himself in his room acting sad. "U-Um do you mind if I come in?" Kaminari suddenly asked sending shockwaves throughout Kirishima's body. He really wanted to see him right now.
Hell, he just wanted to see that someone cared.
Not even bothering to stop him, Kaminari opened his door. "Hey bro...You alright?" The door closed gently behind him as he walked over to Kirishima's bed. "No...." His voice was softer than a whisper. Kaminari's face shifted into a frown as he went on his knees by his bedpost.
"Wanna talk about it?" Kaminari asked politely. Kirishima shifted his face towards him, his expression looked strained while his eyes had light gray bags underneath them. "You probably wouldn't understand." The redhead mumbled.
Kaminari studied his features and realized a important key factor.
Kirishima hasn't been crying.
Of course crying was a bad thing but that means whatever he was feeling was bottled up so tight that he could explode any minute. Without thinking, Kaminari placed his hand on his red hair, a smile taking up his features. "Kiri..." The blonde watched as Kirishima's features began to shift, as his face wanted to distort into a ugly sob.
"It's gonna be ok." Kaminari said gently, a soft smile on his face. Kirishima felt a lump in his throat as he felt his lip begin to quiver. The choking feeling felt heavier as he burned holes into the ground. "I don't know what is going on but I know that nobody is always happy. Everyone has a low point of their life. And if you're going through that I'll try to help you...I'll help you no matter what..." Kirishima felt his body tremble as he began to cry.
Silent sobs wrecked him as he quivered like a leaf. The blonde, who was very bad at helping people, held his arms out in an attempt of a hug. Kirishima looked at him, his face breaking again and again. He couldn't even try and smile anymore as he accepted the awkward hug, falling to the ground with Kaminari.
"It's gonna be ok." Kaminari whispered softly as he placed his head on top of Kirishima's head. Ugly sobs bounced around the room, Kirishima's feelings pouring out of him like a waterfall. His stomach hurt from the constant need of air, his lungs burned from making him cry for so long.
