" what's so funny y'all ? " my momma had the whole table looking.
I nudged Jada. She cleared her throat " oh momma Tasha we were laughing about how this corny dude tryna get with Paris " Jada saved us with a lie.

After a hour of eating , laughing , and getting to know each other we were all back at my house. Since it's still summer break Jada spending the night.
We both showered and were chopping it up.

" yea you like Like him " Jada wiggles her eyebrows.

I got cut off by Dj and Eric coming into my room.
" What y'all doing ? " Eric said looking at me.
" nothing we bored. " I said.
" y'all smoke ?" Dj asked Jada
" duh I smoke all the time " I snapped my head at her she doesn't know a thing about smoking nor do I. She gave me the lie look.
" Paris , you smoke ? " Everyone's eyes were on me. I spoke up.

" Cigarettes ? we talking about weed." Everybody was laughing at me I even laughed at myself.

" Shit let's go then I'm ready to release some stress" Jada hopped up off my bed. Dj looked at her then Eric.
" I got a room downstairs we can smoke in , but what about yo mamma she gone trip "
" She not gone trip she be so tired she sleep through anything, I'll go check though."

I hurried down the long hall to see if she was actually in a deep sleep.
" ma " I whisper yelled twice. Plus throwing a object at her. She was knocked out, working two jobs makes her energy so low.

After 4 blunts I was so high, I mean everybody was so high. The room was hotboxed and we were just chilling. Dj grabbed Jada by the wrist and took her to the other side of the room so Eric and I were alone on our side.
" how you feel ? " Eric asked licking his lips
" on top of the world " it's true, everything felt so numb and free. It was an amazing feeling I just can't describe.
We just stared at each other and busted out laughing.
" I'm hungry" all of a sudden I wanted everything to eat or else I was gonna fall out.
" aye Dj let's go to IHOP " they nodded at each other.
Jada and I ran to my run to throw on some quick clothes.

We were now waiting on our food.
" Eric all this money and no nine to five ? " I asked waiting on him to confirm what I was already thinking.
" yea Dj same thing I wanted to ask you " . Jada said.
" we businessmen " Dj said while him and Eric busted out laughing.
" fine I don't want to know " I said in a annoyed way.
" good , that ain't nothing to discuss here anyway" Eric said.

After a ride home and a shower Jada and I were getting ready to call it a night.
" girl they like us " Jada said smiling big.
" they probably do that with every female Jada don't get your hopes up " I said.
" well as long as Dj not doing nothing with me with anybody else , good night " Jada went off to sleep.
