(Mason POV)
We went back to circle up when Sammy and I were out of time out. A poofy haired kid was playing with the rubber ducky and singing to it.

(Thomas POV)
"Rubber ducky you make bathtime lots of fun, rubber ducky I'm awfully fond of you. Voh-do-do-de-o!" I love  this rubber ducky. Mr. Washington said we were having Mac and cheese for lunch today. My best friend James Madison is sick but he's still here at school. He's my best friend ever. I don't like the new kid that much. I took the rubber ducky to go play with James at the trains. I picked up a train and put the duck on it. "Is this a good idea?" James asked, gripping his blanket. "Yeah" I responded the duck started moving on the train set. James and I watched it go around and completely ignored Mr Washington. He walked over to James and I and took the duck off the train. I started kicking my legs and almost cried as Mr Washington put the duckie down.

(Washington POV)
When I picked up the duck Thomas was going to have a meltdown so I put the duck down and left. Thomas has minor autism so he really likes the rubber duck. If you take something from him he'll melt down. He also hates fighting so we had to take him out of the room when Mason and Sam were fighting.

(Mason POV)
I went up to the kid with poofy hair and the kid with the blanket. "Can I play with you?" I said the poofy hair kid covered his ears. "Thomas Thomas he won't hurt you." The blanket kid said. "O-okay." He looked at me with fear. I picked up the ducky. "Put it down or Thomas will get upset." I put it down and left because they seemed boring.
