This is going to be the last time I update in a long time, but this is just a look at how my revamped version is going to look. Take note that the Cliché versions will stay the same. This has not yet been edited. Be warned.

———

We all know that a key part about Lucy Leaves Fairy Tail books is that she is called weak and is said to hide behind her spirits. In my opinion, Natsu wouldn't be the one to break it to Lucy that she is out of the team, and would be the most likely to stand up for her in the guild.
Note: I will point out mistakes as I go, then using these notes, I will make a different version of the chapter.

I have bolded the errors so you can skip them.

Cliché version:

Lucy's P.O.V

i ( Error one, a common mistake is that people forget that I is uppercased. Even for those 'gifted with autocorrect' some mistakes may slip by. )
wake up to the sound of birds chirping and the sunshine on my face. ( Good wording but the birds chirping is a cliché line used in many stories, try and spice it up a little )
I yawn and do my daily routine then head to the guild. ( Good try, but that is very vague, for those who know little about the anime, they don't know what Lucy's daily routine is, try to be more specific and over time, you can use that line, and to make it a little better, try putting guild hall instead of the guild, it makes the chapter that little bit longer for those of you setting a goal for each chapter. )
It is after the GMG and everyone seems to be giving me the cold shoulder and instead talk to Lisanna. ( again, this is an ok line, but a lot of people make it after the GMG, and even if it is convenient that Lucy lost her battles, try making it after a mission or something. Also, try making it so that Lucy is thinking about how over time they stopped talking to her, it's a bit fast if all of a sudden no one will talk to her. )
I enter the guild and the atmosphere is tense, I could tell something was wrong. Suddenly Natsu walks up to me. 'Is he finally going to talk to me after all this time?' ( Hold up, Lucy should know by now from reading many books and putting together context clues that this is not going to be a good talk. She should also know that no one after months of ignoring her, would just up and talk to her. )
"Lucy, we need to talk." He says harshly and I flinch as he says my full name and not just Luce.
( Honestly, it's nice to know that she recognizes that her nickname is gone, but she should be more surprised at the fact that Natsu would be this harsh to her and have this serious tone without a threat anywhere. )
CLIFFHANGER. ( Some do a cliffhanger before or after they say that she is off team Natsu, but everyone knows that it was going to happen, that is the thing with these loops, everyone knows what's going to happen even before it's said. )

CLIFFHANGER!!!

Edited version:

Lucy's eyes fluttered open as she gazed blearily around the room, still in a sleep like daze. The bliss like state that her peaceful slumber had given her slowly started to fade out as she became more aware of everything around her. Lucy let out a yawn before stretching out her limbs, hearing a satisfying pop before she idly wondered why she felt so exhausted.

The memories hit her like a train, and she wished she could go back to the curious state of unknowing as soon as it happened.

The blissful innocence that one mission stole from her.

Lucy walked along the canal edge, a spring in her step as she headed in the direction of the guild hall. Plue was tucked safely in her arms as she continued on her way, her blond locks tied back in a ponytail in an attempt to fight back the heat of the summer.

Lucy smiled as the fishermen called out to her— it had become a bit of a morning ritual for all three of them.

Lucy called back out to them before continuing to the guild hall, the massive structure now in her sights.

Walking up to the big double doors, Lucy was about to enter the building before a muffled conversation caught her attention— and made her stop in her tracks.

"That Lucy girl should just get lost already— like, really, she's dropping Fairy Tail's reputation below normal, it's just disgraceful—" before they could shame her any further, they were cut off by a loud shout of protest coming from none other than her best friend and long time crush, Natsu Dragneel.

"You don't know a damn thing about Lucy! She's one of the most strong willed person I've ever known! And Fairy Tail is about family! So if that's how you're going to treat her, then you can—" Natsu was also cut off by someone Lucy knew well.

"Natsu. Calm down." Erza stated harshly. She may seem indifferent about the matter, but Lucy could hear the anger laced in her words— though it was definitely not aimed at Natsu.

Natsu also seemed to have caught onto this, and oddly, he complied.

By now Lucy had connected the first voice to one of their newest members, Misaki Levros. She was overall a rude person, but it still hurt to know that people thought that way about her.

Everything had just about settled down, but there was now a thick tension in the guild that Lucy could feel even from outside the building. Trying to comprehend what had happened, Lucy's mind worked in overdrive to process the information. Once everything finally settled in, Lucy's hand had started to tremble as she moved it away from the guild doors. How many people thought that? Misaki couldn't be the only one..

Backing away from the looming structure, Lucy eventually whirled around, footsteps light but slightly rushed as she headed back to her apartment.

Yeah, the words hurt. Because she knew they were laced with truth.

That mission she had failed..

She bit the bottom of her lips, the slight metallic taste of blood welling up caused her to loosen her hold on the soft flesh.

There was so much more going on that they didn't know.

She had to fail it.

And she could tell absolutely
No one.

Breaking out of her thoughts, Lucy clenched her fist, fishing her apartment keys out of her pocket, nearly crushing them in her iron like grip. She shoved the oddly shaped object into the slotted hole in the doorknob, twisting it angrily. In her haste to get inside and vent her frustrations, the door slammed into the wall with a bang as she threw it open.

That mission could have killed so many people had she finished it.

That threat still held if she told a single soul.

Clenching her fists even harder, her nails dug into the skin on her palms in a feeble attempt to break her out of her thoughts.

She needed to get stronger.

So many lives depended on her stupid, minuscule amount of skill.

She was stronger with others.

She needed to grow stronger alone.

Lucy wanted to scream in frustration and hurl something across the room, but she restrained herself. The noise would most likely alert the dragon slayer that was currently lying peacefully in her bed.

Wait—

"NATSUUUUUUU!!!"
