Chapter 1 Recovery

Noel watched as Kokonoe took the wrappings off of Jin's legs. She glanced at his face for some bit. He had his typical serious and grim look in his eyes as if he didn't seem happy about this, but then again, he's never bright around anybody except when it was his own brother which would put into many awkward episodes of crazy.

Speaking of Jin's brother, also known as Ragna the Bloodedge The "Grim Reaper", there were still no traces of him even though countless search parties have taken place. Some claim to find a small tuft of white hair belonging to him on a field. But no one could find other findings besides that tuft of hair. Could Ragna be dead, could he have evaporated during his berserk. No one knows. Not even Rachel Alucard has figured that out.

"Ok Jin, try to lift one leg up" Kokonoe instructed. Jin did with his left leg, starting with the bent knee then lifting straight like a branch with ease "good, now try the other leg" Kokonoe replied. Jin did that, lifting the right leg this time with ease. Kokonoe smiled at this.

"This is good," she said "I guess that would mean it's over. But if hurts again, let us know." Jin didn't respond or even nod, but he closed his eyes which meant that he did hear and at least responded.

"But for the both of you," Kokonoe kept saying "I would advise that you shouldn't get into fights yet cause those injuries still could come back if too much pressure on the joints happens again. But I do recommend that you get fresh air cause being in one room for too long may get your mind all wobbled." 

"Thank you Professor" Noel said. It didn't take long for her to leave the room. All the sitting got her needing to stretch her legs. The workout room shouldn't be that hard to find.

"Noel, one moment," a voice from behind called to her. Noel turned to see Kokonoe behind her outside the room without anyone else.

"I don't want you looking for Ragna right now" the professor said. Noel only widened her eyes at this demand. Why can't she look for Ragna? He needs his siblings right now for wherever he was right now. What if he was incredibly hurt?

"I know you and Jin want to look for him, and believe me, I want to find him too, but as of right now, we can't risk attracting attention from any NOL soldiers if we get you on the fronts too early which would also get attention from the Imperator or even Terumi and Relius which are both worse. I don't want to lose many of our good members, even you."

Noel just lower her head. The safety of the other members of this small Resistance was important, but Ragna...

"I understand Professor" Noel said, her tone was lower than anticipated. Kokonoe didn't seem to be fazed by it though, she just nodded "Thank you Noel, that's what I'll need to know." Then she left through the end of the far end of the hallway. Noel only stood there going deeper into her thoughts. 

So she is just gonna wait inside this building while Ragna was somewhere out there underneath the blue sky? Time may fly fast, but there would be still enough hours for something to happen and Ragna may not have that many hours before something happens to him of all people. There has to be something for her to instead of wait.

Something clicked in her head. Her knuckles clenched on both sides, there was one way.
