Chapter 3 Kagutsuchi

It was more pleasant to feel the sun on her skin since the Lynchpin Incident. It was the feeling of warmth and pleasant knowing that she was finally outside instead of being in the same room with your superior officer. Noel accompanied by Tsubaki and Makoto were enjoying the sun while patrolling through the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi. The busy streets were crowded with people of young, middle and old age while shops were booming with customers buying though Noel couldn't seem to find a perfect item shown at the counters and displays of each.  

"So what's the plan?" Makoto asked breaking the silence between the three girls which gave them some good reason not to get distracted by the place they are right now "Should we...trace the last time Ragna was last found, where that tuft of hair was or maybe we should..." 

"There's already been a lot of problems to deal with regarding Ragna at this moment Makoto," Tsubaki interrupted displeasing Makoto with her tail drooping as a sign "the reports yesterday were one reason for high security measures placed around the building. There has been a countless increase of Zero Squadron surveying Kagutsuchi as this was to a last sighted report of him being here. This would outnumber chances of finding him before they do."

"Even if one person finds Ragna, reporting to the NOL would be 100% on their mind once eye sight is laid. That would both be disastrous since that would risk him running off again leading us to a wild goose chase, but it would be beneficial cause we would know where he go off and where he was." 

"But if Jin were to find him first..."

"Find who first?"

The three girls turned with flinching occurred during that. Jin was there behind them giving off a serious look towards the three of them at the same time.

"J-Jin?!" Tsubaki replied with sudden shock "Wh...what are you doing...here?"

"I heard her planning to escape in the hallway. You really were going against orders, just look...for Brother without me?" Jin answered having a more creepy sinister smile when at the mention of his Brother while glaring at Noel at the escape. The three exchanged glances or worry, they were told of Jin's...obsession with Ragna as if it was incest or something. 

"But you're going against orders too," Makoto objected "Kokonoe told you to stay put and heal, but this is what you do!" Jin kept his eyes on Noel a glare of coldness directly towards her which gave Noel some goosebumps and strings of hair on the back of her head stringing upwards.

"You two don't seem to disagree with her going about," Jin coldly exclaimed "But as for me, I don't need someone to tell me I shouldn't go find my...Brother, I can go do that myself" He reverted back to the psycho state. It bothered Makoto and Noel, but Tsubaki didn't seemed phased at all "The last time you went looking for Ragna, you got Wings of Justice after you like police dogs. I know of your habits and what matters most is that you need to heal your body before something bad happens and you'll be ended up back in that bed with even more bandages."

The way Tsubaki barked at Jin was something Noel and Makoto were shocked about. Even Jin was surprised at her tone. They all could tell this won't end well. Noel tried to look at the scenery, possibly in hopes no one was paying attention to them. She saw people coming in and out of stores and restaurants, people buying things from people that were selling things, a familiar Detonator carrying two crates by itself...

Wait a minute...

She recognized that mechanical figure...Detonator: Ignis. The one following Relius Clover all the time...maybe...she couldn't wait any longer. She tapped Makoto close onto her shoulder getting her attention. Once Makoto was able to see Detonator: Ignis, the two glanced looks with determination and checked with Tsubaki and Jin, who were still arguing.
