Flashback
Phillip Gravtio or Phil as he wished to be called detest a messy house. The very idea of a messy house drives him insane. Granted at some point his parents really should have tested him for obsessive compulsive disorder when he was younger to get the anxiety ridden hormone induce function under control. None the less the sentiment is still there.
So when said parent walked inside his house and pauses to watch as his son clean and mend the objects turned debris inside his home he is reminded of said strong feeling.
"What happened?" The flat even tone portrayed everything and yet nothing. His son visible flinched at the words before turning around and replying.
"Nothing...that I could not handle. It was all just a misunderstanding Dad." Arie gave a sheepish smiled. Phillip shook his head a the antics of his son and turned to the newcomer.
"And I suspect that you had something to do with his rough housing in my home?
"Unfortunately I leaped before I looked. The Void has been antsy recently. " Richard stood up and saluted. "I am Lord Richard Angevin, the third son. Lord Gravito the council beeches you to join you brethren once again. The Signs have passed and the hunt has begun." Richard stated.
The room was stilled before Phillip conjured his family sword. "The Gravito hear your call and respond as such with honor.
"How is Rina? I heard about her stint in the hospital. Did you give her that package?
Now confused Arie nodded in response, " She took it but... well we broke up a bit ago so
She is not in the talking mood. I am pretty sure she will eventually get back to me. But she is not a part of the main line so-- much is to be learned and if the head of her family say it fit to give us a task we must follow through.
End Flashback
The house was shaking under the pressure of what seemed like an earthquake. Books scattered everywhere as I tried to keep my balance. In the chaos I grabbed the package contents and ducked under the table. The lost sight of everyone caused me to panic.
Earthquakes should not be a thing in Northern PA. The heavy sounds of objects falling continued and in the background as my mind finally gave whey the the recognizable scream that my nightmares would not let go.
Later I would not know what had compelled me to put on the necklace. Maybe it was thoughts on my impending doom, or some higher calling but somehow everything went into an immediate silence. Then when my hopes slowly approached, THE GROUND gave whey and all I knew was that I was falling. It was at that point I summarized the recognizable scream....was me.
Rina....Rina....RINA, wake up. Arie's is who brought me out. The strong smell of incense is the first thing I notice , the second is the amount of shadows that seem to dance around me.
"Where....Where are we?" I asked. The room had high ceilings and stretched pretty far across. Looking around seeing the stone walls made me imaging a nobles castle. The room was to used as a conference room I suspected. The long table and surrounding chairs reminded of a war room in the sense of official collaborations to be set. I was settling on a lounge chair in the corner when Richard decided to reply.
"Sagarebelith, we passed through the void during the chaos. Our presence has been notice by the elder council." Richard the turned towards the door. "There is not going to be much time to explain. Adrina, please keep you name quite. This is a much bigger thing than we thought if you were brought here. I will throw them off somehow how." He turned to face us,"Heir Gravito, how would the second line wish to proceed ?
Arie turned to me with a look I have never seen. "Adrina, we are in a place were you seer like abilities will be coveted. People will cheat, steal and murder for the thoughts and sights inside your head. Know that we will make every effort to prevent this but also heed my warning.
Looking at both of there face I realized how grave the situation is. I give a quick nod and grabbed Arie's hand tightly. Loud was the bang on door introducing the present of the coming guard.
"The Council is ready for you now. We will be meeting in the gathering room. "
At that moment all I could thing of is the cluster mess .
Lord Richard, you were sent to the other Er to retrieve the last of the known nobles. Your efforts have been noted are and greatly thanked. Now to continue the Introductions, we are The Prime Council . We are in charge of keeping the peace of the those who had remained." The Middle member stated. She looked real as her posture was one of envy.
"My name is Ninset I am the head of the healers and this council. On my left is Councilmen Hacu and my right is Councilwomen Jazhex. " Her had directed as she spook. Her voice is a light airy tone that matched her look in the sense of long blonde hair that flows straight and piercing brown eyes.
"Arie Gravito, heir to the Gravito's, Second Noble line. And this is my Fiancee Adrina. please excuse for our presentation. The travel was not well for us." Arie gave a bow like salute and I stumble following him. His deceleration surprised me but it was neither the place or time for a fit.
Hauc looked us all over. The knots in my stomach enlarged as she paused on me. Her eyes were black, wild and life like seemed her hair as the high curls halo her face.
"Welcome to Sagarebelith, I feel sorrow on the unconventional way that you have arrived. I am in charge of the Archivist. We hope to be of some help on your journey. Your name Adrina has been written down in the halls of Knoe. You grandfather has always hoped you would make your way here."
Jazhex shifted after Hauc spoke. " It has been sometime since a Gravito has passed this hall. Your line had choose to go to the Er some generations after the Turning point. The warrior class welcomes you once more.
"Unfortunate you passed through the veil at a volatile time. There is no way for us to safely send you back. We can how host you at the School and you will be able to choose and attend to your studies, so not all in lost. "
Great even in another realm I still have school.
