3rd POV

Kol and Katie, the Original twins, were relaxing in Kate's bedroom enjoying the little bit of peace they had. Suddenly Katie sat on the bed and looked at her brother.
"Kol?" She called, making her brother look at her. "Why don't we take a break?"
"What do you mean, sister?" He said, now also sitting on the bed and the book he was reading long forgotten on the bedside table.
"This place is getting really tiring and don't you enjoy this little moment of peace we're having?" She asked back with a tired look on her face. Really, all this drama and danger and enemies in New Orleans are becoming a routine for them. The city lost its light and peace.
The male vampire sighed audibly and looked at the ceiling. Their new 'routine' is, liking or not, taking its toll on them. Sure, they're immortal vampires who don't grow old but even undying beings get tired. They do need a break from all the supernatural bullshit and just live their eternal lives in peace. Kol looked at his favorite sibling, his true soulmate, and decided, right at that moment, to get away with her.
"I do enjoy this peace, sister and I know just where we can go." He told her getting up from the bed to already get ready for their trip. She looked at him with shining eyes and followed him to his room. "There's a little town in Washington called Forks. I have a house there. It's perfect. It's in the middle of the woods, away from town and prying eyes. And we can even go to school." He heard an incredibly loud squeal and new his sister was the cause. She was as excited as him to this expedition.
The squealing vampire jumped on her twin brother, hugging him and thanking him over and over again. Kol didn't have to look back to know his sister had gone to her room and already started to pack her bags filling them with her enormous amount of clothes. He smiled and shook his head at the thought. And he was right. When he brought his bags downstairs to her car, Katie was there, struggling with all of her cases. He looked at the scene and let out a chuckle before going to help her. And they went on to their adventure while bickering all the way. The way to hopefully their new and peaceful home. What they didn't know is that Forks was anything but peaceful.
