Wyoming, 1874.
The land is deserted, and dirt-roads are blocked off with snow.
We hear the sound of whistling, appearing closer and closer.
Suddenly, a wagon appears with an old man sitting on top of it.
Two horses are attached to the wagon, as they stomp their hooves through the deep snow, guiding the wagon to its destination.
The old man's voice cuts through the silence, as he shouts out -
"Goddamned snow! Ya think ya can slow me down?! Not good 'ol Doc Tribble! No sir!"
The Doc mutters to himself, as the wagon carries on.
Three men sit inside the wagon, silent and eyeing each other.
Bronze Lavender is a posh white man with a fancy mustache, and a funky attitude. He scoffs at the other two men.
Augustus Brown is a free black man with a fast hand for revolvers. Bounty hunting is his main profession.
Georgie McDread is a middle-class white man with a dapper outfit. He has a quirky nature to him.
Bronze and the freeman eye each other with disgust; Augustus being a black man, and Bronze being a racist high-class white man.
McDread can feel the tension in the air, as he squirms in his seat.
Bronze eventually blurts out, "I don't like the way you're eyein' me there, feller."
The freeman eyes him back and smirks.
"I don't care what you like. You just leave me alone," Augustus retorts.
"Why in the world do I have to ride in the same wagon with someone of your color?" Bronze snarls.
"That's the way it's gotta be. I'm not fond of you either. So you stay outta my business now, you hear?" Augustus retorts back.
Bronze shoots Augustus a smug look.
"Nigger - what If I were to have you hanged - for that tone in your voice?" Bronze snarls.
The freeman smiles and leans forward.
"I say you lay a hand on me, white boy... and you'll be the one hanged for murderin' a free man." Augustus says.
Lavender's face turns blank as he looks off to the side.
McDread looks over at Augustus, and nods in approval.
We hear the old man Doc Tribble singing in the background.
