It all began a cloudy night. The moon was as blue as the sea, the clouds as gray as an elephants, with sprinkles like tears from the elephants as cold as ice. Caleb ran down the side of the road from the rain. He was playing video games with his friends and lost time, his competitive self protested leaving but he knew he had to. He was currently running so his parents wouldn't realize he went to play with Andrew. The steep edge beside him leading to a beach below the normal part of the town had razor sharp rocks all up and down the wall. There was no doubt if he fell he would surely get injured or even worse, die. A factor even worse is the slippery mud could make him plunge. His constant running shook the ground slightly. Mud started sliding down taking the helpless boy with it. Fresh cuts from the ridged surface bled lightly. The frightened kid was trapped under the mud, salty and gloomy tears fell from his face. The next morning his parents went to wake him up when they found an empty bed. They called the cops to search and they found him passed out, but still breathing. The trauma from this incident gave him vivid nightmares he would never forget. Who knew his dreams could become reality?
