*4 months later*
Flying high in the sky, as a bald eagle is great, one of my greatest pleasures in life is flying.
That's what I am doing now. I am also following Nic, who is below, running as his wolf. His wolf is beautiful, he's a dark grey almost black, with very little white on the tips of his ears.
I dive down towards him, and then break, as I spread my wings, and brush his fur with them as I land a few yards away, in the grass of my favorite field.
I shift back, because my stomach is tightening, and then relaxing. If I stayed in the air any longer, I'd surely fall and plummet to the ground below.
I lay down on the grass, catching my breath. Nic comes trotting up, looking down at me as I lay in the grass.
"Nic, it's time," I tell him, in between pants from the contractions. He whines, "Nic,baby, I can't shift in this condition," I cry out in pain.
The contractions suddenly coming rapidly. He shifts, and goes to pick me up. "No, don't," I cry. I start to fumble with my pants, knowing that I can't have them on.
"What do I do," Nic says panicked. "Go, get the doctor," I cry. Nic's eyes fog, "he's coming," Nic says.
He helps me with my pants, and sits at my head, as I cry from the pain. "Nic he's nooooot going to get her in time," I tell him, as a contraction hits.
The urge to push arrives. I grab Nic's hand and push, and then again. On my third push, I scream, as I deliver our baby into the world, on a soft spot of grass, that I laid on.
Knowing that I was only pregnant with one, I sit up, and grab our baby boy, bringing him to me, and lay back down.
A couple minutes later the doctor arrives, dumbfounded as I hold the baby in my arms. The doctor walks over and cuts the cord, "couldn't even wait, little man," the doctor says, chuckling.
He then checks me over, as I remained laying down. "Good Luna, the bleeding has already stopped," he says.
"Alpha, let's get these two home," the doctor says, handing Nic pants. Then wraps our baby in a blanket, then me, as Nic picks us up, out of the grass.
"Take them home, Alpha, she's done everything I could have helped with," the doctor smiles, "we have one hell of a Luna, Alpha."
Nic carries me and our baby to our room, and lays us down, I then begin to feed our baby. "I love you,Izzy," Nic says. "I love you too Nic," I tell him as I watch our baby eat.
