Shadows danced as he ran away, his heavy breathing echoing in the darkness. Faster he ran down the twist and turns of the alley way desperate to escape as far as possible.

Run.

He could still hear the screams. The terrified looks of his comrades still played in his mind in a horrible loop. He could see his own brother pushing him away before he too fell.

He covered his ears as he ran trying to block out his brothers wails and his heart suffered at his agonizing end. Only the clicks of footsteps filled his ears at his brothers own death, rage and fear grew within his chest.

He wanted to go back and save him.

But he couldn't. He really couldn't.

If he went back there he would be wasting his brothers sacrifice. Everything would be in vain. He knew it was impossible . He was just too weak.

He stopped to catch his breath, wiping away the the fatigue from his brow. So preoccupied was he that he missed the figure of a person stalking its prey.

"Ara ara what do we have here?"

He felt metal tangle around his neck and his feet left the ground.

" you should have stayed for tea"

He was choking as he was pulled to the ground, his hand fumbling with the chain around his throat. His heart raced with every step his captor took.

As if on cue the dark clouds looming in the sky part allowing the gentle rays of the moon to illuminate the night .

The woman- for it was a woman standing at around 5'4 and with how sweet and seductive her voice is-was clothed in a black ensemble of a simple black  long sleeve that hugged her curves and black pants covered by a see through black kimono on her shoulders.

Sunkissed Blonde hair that should have been unblendable in the dark went down her back. With heart shaped lips and milky pale skin her cerulean eyes captured his in a trance. All in all a beautiful woman, But like all beautiful women there was more to her than meets the eye.

She took graceful steps towards her downed prey, a intricate fan held between her glasslike fingers. She closes it and uses the end of it to lift his chin up.

He recognized this woman.

"You..you?! You're supposed to be dead!"

How could he not when she was the reason his branch was annihilated!

With a fire in his belly he tried hard to fight back. Punching and kicking as he struggled to remove the metal chain around his neck.

A slap to the cheek ceased his efforts as he tried to shake of the pain and the darkness creeping into his vision.

"Surprised...?I came back from the dead just for you." Her voice monotone and subzero.

He knew he was about to lose consciousness but valiantly he fought the urge. He couldn't believe it. He had her killed. She was ambushed and surrounded by hundreds of his men, she had nowhere to hide nowhere to run to. So how? How is she here? Like a ghost from his past she came back to haunt him.

"You should have been more thorough." She says, Her voice ice cold.

"...how is this possible... we blew the place up sky high. We blew you up to hell and back." His voice surprisingly calm.

" I jumped into a rabbit hole." She shrugs him off and walks circles around him, her fan now open and covering her mouth leaving only her orbs on display.
