"chase i'm boarding i'm gonna have to go. i'll call you when i'm off my flight!" i say to my boyfriend who's currently sulking on facetime because i have to go.
"okay baby i love you." he replies and smiles. his smile bro. this literally started months ago. like 6 months ago, i got a message from vivid asking whether i wanted to go on phase 1 of the lights out tour. chase followed me and then added me to their groupchat. we became best friends and now we've been dating for 2 weeks. i know it's like not that long but he's really sweet.
"i love you too bubba i'll see you in a couple of hours." i smile as i end the call. to be honestly i'm really excited to see my friends too! it's been so long since i saw anthony and griffin and jaden it's honestly going to be so nice to see them all again.

it's been about 3 hours since we took off and the seatbelt sign just turned back on which means that we're almost in LA. i'm almost reunited with some of my favourite people ever.
"we are now descending into Los Angeles, California. thank you for choosing to fly with american airlines. we should be in LAX in roughly 45 minutes." is the last thing i hear before i put harry styles on shuffle.

noen and i are walking around the mall to look for some paper and pens. we're making a sign for king for when she gets to madi's and i hope she likes it. we were going to pick her up at the airport but we made up an excuse and just said that donnoven couldn't give us a ride to the airport but really we're getting everyone at madi's to surprise her for when she gets here.
"pink paper, yellow and purple paint pens and some glitter shit. is that enough?" noen says to me as we approach the crafts isle in a target near by.
"that should be okay bro." i reply as he picks up the stuff we need and puts it in the basket. madi and avani said that they'd do that with noen because i'm not really good with the artsy kinda shit. we live like an hour away from LAX so we should be okay.
my phone starts to buzz once we leave target. i check who's calling me and see the name "kingsley🥰🤡" appear on my phone. she's here.
"hi baby!" i smile as i put my phone to my ear.
"hi bub um i'm here i know there's an uber waiting for me so i'll see you in like an hour is that okay?" she says.
"that's perfect i'll see you soon babe." i reply and put the phone down. "noen she's on her way we need to go like right now." i now start to panic not knowing if everything will be ready.
"dude chill we'll be there in time you'll see your girl." he said reassuringly. i need to chill.
