The rain was softly falling around you as you walked down the side walk. Your heart was pounding in your throat as you approached the place that you’ve been avoiding for months. It was hard coming back and you couldn’t help but wonder if you made a mistake by coming back here. You didn’t, right?

Y/N, let’s go already.“ Jimin groaned, annoyance seeping in to his voice. He was waiting by the front door, ready to leave and spend the day with the love of his life.

“Jimin, relax.“ You laughed as you put on your black, denim jacket. “We have the whole day for ourselves, okay?“ You tried to reassure your boyfriend of many years.

“I know, Y/N, I just want to go and enjoy the day with you.“ He sighed as he grabbed your hand softly.

“You will.“ You smile, your other hand softly touching his cheek. “Cause I’m ready now.”

“So can I now enjoy the day with my beautiful girlfriend?“

“Who’s this beautiful girlfriend you keep talking about?“ You joke, pushing his hair out of his face. “I need to meet her if my boyfriend is dating her.“

“Shut up.“ He laughed, opening the door and ushering you out. “You’re such an idiot.“

“But you love me.“

“I do.“ He smiled as the door slowly fell shut.

It felt like the rain was getting heavier with every second that you stood still. It was getting harder and harder to walk further, closer to that place were everything changed. It felt like you were choking on the air but you didn’t want to go home, you couldn’t. Not after trying so many times to go to that place and failing every single time, over and over.

“Do you want to eat here?“ Jimin asked, looking up at a little bakery. The bakery had a pink door with white window frames and looked really nice overal.

“Looks good.“ You smile, standing next to Jimin and looking up at it. It wasn’t a lie, the bakery looked good but you felt like something was about to go wrong and you couldn’t shake that feeling off.

“Oh god, you hate it.“ His voice was filled with panic and anger for himself. “I looked it up espacially for you and I didn’t even know that you would hate it. We’ve been dating for six years and I don’t even know you, I’m a horrible boyfriend.“

“Jimin.“ You laugh, interrupting his rambling. You grabbed one of his hands and put your other hand on his cheeks, smiling at him. You couldn’t help notice how handsome and nervous he looked. “It's okay, baby. I really like it and you know exactly what I love.“

“Really?“ He nervously smiled. “You mean that?“

“Yes.“ You smile up at him. “You’re the perfect boyfriend and I love you very much.“ With that you stood up on your tip toes and placed your lips against his.

The little bakery appeared in sight and you stopped walking once again, memories flooding your mind. A sob threatened to escape your lips so you bit down on your lip hard, so hard that you tasted blood. Just being there was hard but you needed to do it, you needed to go there.

“Let’s take a walk on the beach, Jimin.“ The ocean captured your eyes immediately. The sunset behind the ocean was beautiful, the sun was outlined by an orange glow and it just looked perfect.

“I don’t know, Y/N.“ He hesitated, he didn’t know if they had time for that. “I don’t want to get sand all over my shoes.“

“Please, Jimin.“ You begged. “It’s so romantic and it will make today perfect.“
