Chapter 2

I forgot to mention Y/n's physical and emotional status.

Y/n doesn't have any injuries from the 'incident', but she does have scars all over her from beatings from her old guardians. Some were even from herself when she was in an anxiously toxic state. As for emotional status, she suffers from severe anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

I sat up gasping for breath and drenched in cold sweat. Another nightmare. I hugged my knees for dear life, crying when I suddenly heard a knock at my door. I opened it to see a letter on the ground. I lightly gasped when I saw it was my UA letter.

I went inside and opened the letter. A hologram vid of all might appeared before me, laughing.

"Congratulations young L/n! Not only did you pass the test, but you got the highest scores on the physical and written tests! You had received 93 villain points and 43 rescue points on the physical! I hope you do well in our school! Welcome to UA!"-all might

The recording ends.

I couldn't help but smile as I get a text from Izu.

Izu 💚- I GOT IN!!!! What about you Y/n-chan?

Y/n- Congratulations Izu-kun!!!! And I got in too!!!!"

Izu 💚- I'm so glad Y/n-chan!!!! Do you want to meet up some time before school starts to celebrate?

Y/n- Sure, but I have work for the next few days. I had taken the time off because of UA but now I need to get back to it.

Izu 💚- Wait....how old are you Y/n-chan?

Y/n- (13-17) why?

Izu 💚- Isn't that a bit young to get a job?/ that's way too young to get a job!!!!

Y/n- It's the only way I can support myself.

Izu 💚- What about your parents? Or guardians?

Y/n- my parents are dead and very few guardians were willing to take me in. The few that did, I didn't trust enough. So at age (12-15) I was kicked from the orphanage and now live in my old home, taking care of myself. I know it sounds unbelievable and awful but I'm happy with this life. I really am!

Izu 💚-.....I'm so sorry Y/n-chan....

Y/n- Look.....please just drop it....or at least treat me like any other.....or even just forget about me if you can't handle the info.....

Izu 💚- I still want to be friends I really do! But....but you can't just live alone and have all that pressure.....it isn't healthy. Can't I at least help in someway?

Y/n- I guess I would appreciate it if you visited me at work every once in a while.....but you don't have to of course!

Izu 💚- Of course I will! I'll visit tomorrow! Where do you work?

Y/n- You know that special cafe that sells things like pastries, coffee, and meals? Its' workers wear maid outfits. Just let the people there know you're a friend of mine and say the number (favorite number) and they'll allow me to be your waiter. It's a thing they do. If you want a certain waiter, say their name and number and they'll be assigned to you.

Izu 💚- Got it. I'll see you tomorrow Y/n-chan! 👋

Y/n- Bye Izu! 👋
