Why my voyage so short is lived?
My tear stained face sadden with restraint.
Your eyes, your lips, your hair,
A memory that just won't seem to fade..
I present to you my heart,
For so long had I kept it stone cold,
Have I come to the moment where I must pay?
For the hearts and feelings of love devoted to me that I have disgraced?
I turned my back to this feeling far too long,
Lost my way and still have found none,
But you, you I can say gave me something new to look forward to each day.
A hope intense for which I know cannot stay,
Must I let it fled?
Must I continue this game of who cares and what nots?
Must I hold to my mother's thoughts?
And pray through the night?
That my heart can resist.
This tragic story of mine,
Stone cold must I remain for the rest of what I call days?
The week so long, a torture I cannot evade.
