Uuuuuuuuuhhhhhh I miss it.
The view we were supposed to get if the apartment had water.
Roll up roll up! We changed to a hotel and the MMTB drove past us everyday it was great. But the pub next door was playing extremely loud music at like 1AM and I'm not in the mood to hear John's hoarse voice in Twist and Shout at that time.
Who are these lads?
Same, ringostonee
G e o r g e (I assume. It's kinda hard to tell cause it's terrifying)
Settled the debate of what colour George's outfit is.
My Magical Mystery Tour boarding pass. We also got a postcard from The Cavern Pub and both are stuck on my wardrobe. Also free access to The Cavern Club and we saw a guy perform. Mathew Street is such an aesthetic place it was like Beatles heaven.
An awful picture of the Penny Lane Barber Shop. We went by it quite quickly.
The place Freddie Mercury stayed at when he was either with his band Ibex or Wrecked. I can't remember.
Gred's house. We also saw Paul's but I don't have a photo.
Also I just realised that John was born on Newcastle Road and in If I Fell, he dies in Newcastle. I'm a genius.
So that's it for photos unless ringostonee gives me permission to post our faces on here. It would just be us standing outside places that are Beatles related.
Some things we saw that I don't have pictures of:
The Beatles Story. It was amazing cause we all had audio guides so everyone was going around silently. Also we saw actual things from the time. The Museum of Liverpool John and Yoko exhibition. We went twice cause we ran out of time the first time. There was a karaoke room and a listening room. We saw a traumatising image. Good times.
Mathew Street aka The Beatles Street. Everything had something to do with them on it. Sgt Pepper's restaurant. The Hard Day's Night Hotel. The Cavern Club/Pub. The Beatles shop. On that shop there were statues of the lads but Ringo's nose had fallen off. It was quite funny.
This guy at this fish and chip shop that looked exactly like Paul. It was scary. He looked a little young to be Paul so I said he used some anti-wrinkle cream but ringostonee thought I said anti-ringo cream, thus the brand came into existence.
The Magical Beatles Museum. It was on Mathew Street and it actually honoured Pete and Stu. There are 6 Beatles you can fite me on that. I also got a Pete keyring. If we went a week later, we could've met him.
Liverpool is just a generally lovely city and I would love to go again :)
