Sebastian walked into my room throwing the door open, making a ' BANG'
" Jesus! Seb, just take my door off of its hinges will ya?! Layla groaned rolling her eyes.
Her brother didn't retort just plopped onto her bed next to her, he gently patted her face " cmon Layla, up and at em"
" Nooo" Layla whined covering her head with her pillow.
" Seriously? It's a big day today Wakey- Wakey little sister" Sebastian attempted to pry the pillow away
" Noooo" Layla cried
Sebastian sighed " Do you really wanna sleep all day on your birthday?"
Layla took the pillow off her face " It's my birthday, I spent it how I want to"
" don't make me call Ali" Sebastian threatened " and you know I will"
Layla huffed but reluctantly got up, just as she did Ali stormed in the room " She up?" Layla widened her eyes " how are you here?" Ali smirked " Your brother called me early, actually he didn't need to I came on my own" Layla looked back at Sebastian who winked and smirked at her, he walked up to her wrapping an arm around her shoulders " Cmon Sis, let's get breakfast" Ali closed her eyes in delight " Mmm, food". Layla laughed and shook her head, the three of them started their descent on the stairs.
At the bottom everyone was waiting for them " Your all here!!" Layla exclaimed shocked.
Jessica smiled " of course, no way we could miss our girls big day, Charlie made breakfast".
Layla sat down on one of the stools at the kitchen island as Jessica set a plate down in front of her. " Looks delicious as always my friend" Layla complimented, Charlie was the only one in the group allowed to cook, as he was the only one who didn't burn eggs, or soup *cough* ( Sebastian) *cough* In fact their parents had all but banned him from even touching the stove, and the microwave, he had once almost exploded it. No scratch that, he did cause it to explode expect their parents used his money to buy a new one, poor guy was broke for months, Layla shook her head as she recalled the incidents devouring the eggs, coincidentally, and bacon. As she was eating she saw Sebastian stick out his tongue at Charlie who did the same back making Layla chortle as she was sipping orange juice. Danny pounded her back causing her to cough even more she held up a hand and leaned away from his touch hoping he got the message, ignoring how his touch ignite a fire that spread all over her body. Layla's face began to turn red as she sipped the water Antonio placed in front of her. Danny looked at her worried " You alright?" She nodded " Yea" Vanessa checked her phone " Alright Layla, go pack a suit and sunscreen we're heading down to the lake" Layla's face lit up with pure happiness " Yesss!" She hugged Sebastian. Henry smiled at his friend " Pack clothes for after, we're heading downtown to Freddy's for dinner and than to the carnival" Layla squealed making the group chuckle in unison " than we're coming back here for presents, cake and movie"
Sebastian shooed her to go up the stairs, and on the third stair he stopped her " Layla" he waited till she turned around "Moms stuck at the hospital" Layla pouted furrowing her eyebrows but understood her mom, people were sick and needed her. needless to say she was bummed she was working on her only daughter's birthday.
Twenty minutes later Layla came down the stairs swinging her keys in her pointer finger.
" Ready?" Ali asked everyone nodded " Let's go!!" Antonio shouted opening the door his fist pumped in the air.
