Riley POV Today is final competition day and I had so much on my mind. Yesterday my uncle was in a car crash so he's in the hospital Myra wanted to stay with her dad so today it's just me and Kira. I had exams coming up at school so I didn't have enough time to write another banger meaning I had to settle with a cover song. I couldn't get Royce out my head at all. I wanted him so bad after the first day we touched I just wanted to devour him. It was like everything around me ceased to exist and it was only him and me there. I regretted letting go I wanted to kiss him right then and there but that was unprofessional and I don't know if he felt the same way. *Honk honk* Kira honked her horn and knocked me out my thoughts. I ran downstairs grabbed my coat and got in the car.
Kira- so today's the last day of competitions girl are you ready?
Sighs* I don't know I'm kinda nervous like looking at Royce is going to hit me bad but I feel like I'm going to make it. They all really like my voice anyways so I know I'm got this in a bag
Kira- speaking of Mr. Royce wassuh wit y'all anyways after that first day y'all had that eye to eye. Contact you been talking about him a lot and he been staring at you oddly?

The rest of the ride was pure silence I was trying to save my voice for when I really needed it. We made it to the arena in no time. It was already packed and it don't start for another 2 hours. We ran up some really long stairs to the back to get ready for competition. My girl Kira is a beast at hair and make up so I let her do mines. I put on the outfit below and put my hair into a slick back pony tail again I was truly in my zone now.

It was already time for the show to begin and we are going to be on national television so if I lose I will be publicly humiliated but I will still be the shit regardless. My uncle and cousin is watching me on tv at the hospital so I felt like I still had them right by my side through the whole way. I could literally hear my uncle yelling at the tv " yeah let's go uncle baby that's my baby girl right there" the thought of it made me chuckle until I felt a familiar hand touch me back. I looked up and it was Royce himself .
Royce- hey I didn't mean to scare you, what you over here laughing about?
