As I walk to my hospital bed I gently picked up my brush and combed my hair. Looked up the window enjoying the quiet place I'm in...
" It has been 2 months since I have been hospitalized and a month since I was diagnosed with some weird malfunction in my body....."
I slowly muttered knowing taiyou can burst in anytime soon.
£ FLASHBACK :
"Sir I have some good news and some bad news for your daughter." The doctor announced to my parents.
Father didn't say anything he just nodded, his face gesturing for the doctor to continue still keeping his poker face
The doctor cleared his throat and continued on speaking
"your daughter has a lifespan adjusting more into 17 years meaning she will have a full 23 years of her life the bad news is that.........."
The doctor lowered his gaze to the ground hesitating to speak until mother spoke with a fake smile on her face
" Oh please do continue we want to know more about our daughter's 'illness' "
I swore I heard a hint of worry in her voice making me a bit.......... happy?
I must be day dreaming or I was just imagining things anyways, the doctor continued but kept looking at the ground avoiding the gaze of my 'worried' family.
"her illness side effects will appear at a young age of 15 or 14,"
"Her breathing's will be quite abnormal , she will puke blood at some point and-"
"Will she be cured?"
The doctor was shocked by father's sudden outburst.
H-his poker face was broken into a more worried father-like face
"We-were sorry we don't know the answer to that question yet considering she is still young she might die but she might also live."
"We are still finding the right medicine to use, sorry for the inconvenience sir"
Father's face lightened up from being a little depressed to more stable
"I can't let my perfect family to be ruined, so do your best"
