Junior year

chapter 2

Y/N Pov

It's been a few days and every day in english class, Lauren and I talk, sometimes about nothing and sometimes about each other. Right now I am walking into school and I see Ariana and Nina. I walk up to them.

"Hey guys, What's up?"

"Sooo you met Lauren then huh" Ariana said

"Yeah, she is really cool"

"She said you guys started talking about me"

Okay so fun fact Ariana and I have been very close friends since like 7th grade. We've known each other since first grade but I very much disliked her. I found her very annoying. I guess she is a bit less annoying now.

"Uhh yeah all good things, all good things." I say in a joking tone

"What were you guys talking about?"

"Not much really about you, just about how you and I have been friends for a long time"

"Oh okay"

We just spent the rest of the time talking about random things until we heard the bell ring and walked to class.

Time skip

I am on my way to English and there are students standing outside the door. I walked over to Selena and waited with her. We have small talk and Lauren comes walking over to us.

"Hey" She walks up while putting her hand up for me to give her a high five. For some reason she has the need to get a high five from me like every five minuets.

"Hey" I smile and give her a high five.

We continued waiting until a teacher tells us to go to her class because our teacher wasn't here. When we got into the class of course Lauren, Selena, and I sat by each other. We started talkig about some random ass shit.

One of Lauren's exes was one of my best friends in elementary school. We started talking about that.

"When I was with my ex perry-"

"Perry what?" I cut her off

"Perry Edwards"

"No way she use to be my best friend in elementary school"

"Really?"

"Yeah I have a picture of us on instagram" I say pulling out my phone and going on insta to find the photo. "Look" I show her the photo of Perry and I in fifth grade.

"She showed me this photo before and even talked about you all the time" she said

"Really? Yeah she use to be my best friend we were always together."

"Yeah well when we were in a relationship it wasn't the healthiest she was really possessive over me." She said in a sad tone.

"Really? I can't see her being like that" I couldn't picture it because she was always so nice and happy but I also know that she didn't have the best life growing up and maybe that effected how she is now.

"Yeah but I got out of the relationship and lost a lot of my friends because of it"

" Aww i'm sorry I wish I knew you then so I could have been there for you. I remeber walking past the theatre and seing you with her all the time like freshman year I always wanted to walk up and say hi because I haven't spoken to Perry since 5th grade"

"Yeah, that is when she started acting like that because we started dating in 8th grade." She said sadly. "You should've said hi because then we would have been friends waaayy sooner and I would have an amazing person in my life during that time."

"Now I wish I would have because I love talking to you." Even though I just met Lauren I feel like I have known her my whole life.

We got off that topic and somehow got on the topic of first kisses.

"Have you guys had you're first kiss yet?" Lauren asked

I nodded "But recently, before summer started." I know kind of late being 16 and just having my first kiss but I swear that is only because my focus is on basketball.....and im very antisocial.

"Not yet" Selena said.

"I thought you did because you're dating Justin" I said confused.

"No, we haven't kissed yet, I'm waiting for him to make a move" Selena said.

That is basically how our conversation went until the bell rang.

Time skip

I'm walking to my last periodwhich is basketball. As I was walking I saw Ariana and Lauren kissing infront of the gym. I tried walking past them before they could notice me.

"Hey Y/N" I heard Lauren say.

"Hi" I said as I walked into the gym. For some reason I got this weird feeling seeing them kiss. I don't know what it is but it was weird. I got changed and practiced and finally school was over. I met up with Camila and went home.
