Hello peeps, I am back, after a long time, with another chapter. Happy Reading Ahead...

In Kartik's Car:-

There was an awkward silence for sometime when Kartik decided to initiate the convo. He wanted to know the actual truth since he had seen pain and sadness in her eyes. Even his heart screamed that she was innocent..

Kartik- So, why haven't you told my family your full name?

Naira- How do you know?

Kartik- Nandu told me when you called her. She was sitting with me and Manik only as we were discussing about a project...

Naira (with tears)- I hate them! I hate my family. i knew they never loved me but they will stoop so low, I had never expected.....

Naira turned her face away. Kartik decided to not ask her anymore questions. Soon they reached Nandu's place. Naira took her clothes. They drove back to Singhania Mansion and went to their rooms after wishing each other 'Good Night'. The drive to the Mansion was quite because as they say 'Sometimes silence says it all...'

In Kartik's Room:-

Kartik entered his room, only to find Manik sleeping at his bed. Kartik took a jug full of water and splashed it at his face.

"Tsunamii...." Manik shouted and Kartik chuckled. Manik made an angry face at him, making Kartik laugh a little more loudly. 

Kartik- Tu yahan kya kar raha hai?

Manik- mujhe tujhse baat karni thi. Zaroori !!!

Kartik sits at the sofa and nods while Manik starts to speak.

Manik- Dekh Kartik main sab jaanta hoon par phir bhi pooch raha hoon...Tu sure hai na ki Naira ki bhi galti thi uss sab mein?

Kartik looks at him with tears glistening in his eyes. He is about to say something when Mishti enters.

Mishti- Bff! Mujhe aapse kuch poochna hai!

Kartik- pooch.

Mishti- Aapke aur Naira di ke beech kuch chal raha hai kya?

Kartik looks at her shocked while Manik is also startled.

Mishti- Aap mujhe aise kya dekh rahe ho? Maine dekh liya tha ki kaise aap ghoor rahe the Naira di ko continuously, dinner ke time. Isiliye pooch liya!

Manik- Mishtu...She is Naira....Naira aggarwal....

Mishti- What!!!! Really?

Kartik nods while a surprised Mishti looks on.

Mishti- But Bff, Naira di is very nice. I do not think she is also their 'partner in crime'.

Manik- Even I feel the same Kartik. I think you should investigate for once and then decide.

Kartik- Even my heart says the same thing and today when I went with her, she told me that she hates her family and...

Kartik tells them about his convo with her. Mishti and Manik look at each other while Kartik is staring at the floor, teary eyed...

Mishti- Waise Bff....Agar Naira di innocent hai, iska matlab ek love story aur shuru hone waali hai....huh?

Kartik looks at her astonished while Mishti and Manik chuckle.

Mishti- Waise Bff, yeh Manik bhai ka naam 'Burj Khalifa' kaise pad gaya? Although apt name, but behind story?

Kartik tells her the happening of office and Mishti bursts into laughter. Kartik also starts laughing and Manik makes faces. They spend some more time together, talkng and giggling and then go to sleep in their respective rooms.
