Twas just another day, when all of a sudden a bird flew into Link's window awakening him from his slumber. Link naturally got up to see what the bird was doing, because it was just continually ramming into his window. When he opened the window a nice breeze flooded his room (so did the bird). The bird stopped on his desk and dropped a letter onto it, Link went over to the burned, old looking letter and opened it, it read.
Dear Link, would you mind helping me out at the castle? I could use a knight right about now. If you come over I might even reward you.
Signed
Zelda.
Link jumped out of bed grabbed his sword and sheild, and descended his ladder to leave the Kokiri forest. He only managed to get about half way to the exit when he heard someone behind him.
"Hey, where do you think you are going, no fairy loser?" Link turned around to see his childhood bully, Mido.
"I'm leaving the forest to help princess Zelda."
"You think I'm stupid enough to believe that?" Link took out the letter and gave it to Mido.
"I guess I was wrong, but you still need permission to leave the forest, go to the Great Deku tree." Link thanked Mido and ran towards the Great Deku tree.
"Wait, Link, I heard rumors of new monsters appearing over there. So I'll just wait here." Link nodded at Mido and ran into the Lost Woods. He only stopped when he realized he was lost, that was when he heard and strange noise coming from a bush on the side of the clearing. Link drew his sword, and sheild and walked over to it. A monkey popped out and scared Link, his screams ring out into the distance.
"Hey are you good with that sword, and sheild?" The monkey sounded nervous.
"I consider myself good, why?"
"Follow me." The monkey took a bunch of twists and turns, until he came into a clearing with a white ball with wings in the middle. Link runs up to it only to be jumped by a bunch of Lizalfos. He swung his sword around but missed and got knocked out, he awoke with a massive headache. He looked up and saw the king of darkness, Ganondorf.
"This kid has no use to me why did you bring him here?" He sounded pretty angry. He aimed his finger at Link, and before he knew it he was in a world of shock, getting electrocuted and was soaring through the air. He opened his eyes and was in a place with a bunch of rocks in a circle with a sword in the middle, his sword! Link searched desperately for his sword but couldn't find it. He looked up at the sword and walked up to it and placed his hands around its handle and prepared himself. He thought of Zelda and pulled the sword up, and he was surrounded in light.
