I rested my head against the car window, staring into the abyss ahead of us. I hadn't had a single text message from Katie or Daniel throughout the whole journey, so I started to wonder if they were having I party because I left.
I glanced up just as papa looked in the mirror.
"You okay Trinity? " He asked.
"S'pose. " I mumbled, frowning and staring out the window again.
The sun started to rise, and illuminated the sky with a Blue - Yellow ombre. As the road slowly became thinner, I realised there was a small town ahead of us.
"Here we are! " Papa said cheerfully. Daisy didn't look too impressed either.
Daisy is my 13 year old sister. We have matching Sky blue eyes and Wavy blonde hair, but the only difference is mine is dip dyed blue to match my eyes. Daisy was wearing a Pink (very short) dress, which mama hated, and I was wearing a baggy t-shirt and skinny jeans.
I gasped as we drove up a long gravel drive and pulled up outside a brick house, with ivy growing arounde the windows and doors. I glanced at Daisy, who was also staring.
"Papa….?" She mumbled
Papa stepped out of the car, helping mama out, as me and Daisy stood gawping at the monstrosity infront of us. Papa slid a large key into the lock, and opened the huge wooden door, reavealing a huge hallway littered with boxes.
"Go choose your rooms, girls! " mama chirped, opening all the doors along the giant hallway.
I jogged down the hall and tried to catch up with Daisy, who was half way up the grand staircase.
I'm so unfit! As I reached the top of the stairs, I turned the knob to the first door I saw, and walked into a large room. There was a double bed in the center of the room, with red velvet sheets laid over it. Above the bed was a gianormous window, much like the ones you get in churches, just not stained glass. To my left was a white door leading into a posh bathroom complete with circular bath, shower, and shampoo and conditioner sitting on the shelves. As I left the bathroom, to my left was another white door. As I pushed it open, it reavealed a huge walk in wardrobe, fully equipped with clothing.
I smiled.
Maybe moving here wasn't such a bad idea after all.
